Rexico - Bargain Day

This is another blues remix from the batch I did in 1999.  It was my idea of an RL Burnside kids show theme.  I heard "hoppin" frog" and immediately thought "that's a kid's show theme".  It also features some grade C+ fake keyboard jazz playing by myself. 

 I totally copped the the kids show idea from The Flaming Lips', Christmas At The Zoo off of Clouds Taste Metallic, although in execution you probably can't tell.

1997...we were asked to contribute a song to rodneys x-mas compilation...i believe it was a tribute to his mom with proceeds going towards funeral costs...of course Rodney, whatever we can do...so Fred whipped up some holiday lyrics (some of his best imho), i threw in some poppy chord changes and cherry-lime added obligatory sleigh bells...a masterpiece? enjoy...
