It is the end of the year and just time to gt this Cosmovision 2019 mix finished. This one, like a good stew, has been cooking for a while, evolving, growing...

The inspiration behind this is music from different genres, countries and even eras but all filtered and weaved together to present something new.

Sol Selectas is pleased to present the 2nd single from Satori’s forthcoming “Re:Imagined” album. Satori’s new version of "Yedi Kule" is set for a packed dance floor, upping the tempo of the original downtempo piece. He maintains the original vocals by singer Qiyans Krets, expertly layering them, adding swirling arpeggios and strings, a deep groovy bass line, and an epic piano solo on the breakdown. Derun’s popular tune has just been given new life, and will be echoing through the hills of Istanbul, and through the halls of the ancient Seven Towers, which the vocals tell the tale of. The artwork by Helia Jamali  shows a heart opening into a  burst of cosmic light.

Sol Selectas is very pleased to present  Re:Imagined album by Satori. This album features 3 originals from Satori, and 6 re-imagined songs  from the Sol Selectas back catalogue.  

Since the success of his remix of Unders’ “Syria” track in 2017, Satori has taken the dance music world by storm,  touring the globe both as a solo artist, and with his newly formed “Band from Space”, and holding a summer residency in Ibiza called “Maktub”.

Once a year in his hometown, Satori does a special 10 hour live set mixing his original music with songs by other respected producers.  It was during this 10 hour set that he literally Imagined the idea to produce an entire album of Sol Selectas back catalogue reworks.  With each Re:imagined song, Satori dives deep into the origins of the music, discovering the cultural influences, geographical location of the samples, and researching the roots of every sound present. The result is a musical composition which takes the listener on a true cultural journey around the globe, and back to the Universe itself. 


The artwork by Helia Jamali honors the origins and roots of the songs in the album, with elements  that represent each place, sound and vibe. The heavenly being seated travels between the stars and galaxies, reimagining time travel.
