Part time synthesizer addict, purveyor of new electronic soundscapes and record enthusiast. Meet man-machine Johnny Posh — analog marriage of light and dark, ambiance and force. Johnny currently resides in Squamish, Canada where he draws inspiration from his surroundings to fuel his passion of music production. Spending most his time in the studio he pursues pushing the boundaries of what is possible to create in electronic soundscapes using classic and modern analog synthesis, with digital tools on standby for clarity.

Showcasing cinematic soundscapes inspired by psychedelic scenes, progressive electronic sounds and acoustic instruments, our guest embarks a 64-minutes selection guided by a vast array of energy — the glorious depths of an otherworldly dance music Johnny Posh's filter, all recorded in his studio. It's like a permanent midnight, well-crafted resulting in an uncomplicated mixtape that flows through its ability to use synth to great effect.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

One more lingering pulsation of the earthquake quivered through the ground. A heavy tile, shaken from the roof, fell and struck the old man on the temple. He lay breathless and pale, with his gray head resting on the young girl's shoulder, and the blood trickling from the wound. As she bent over him, fearing that he was dead, there came a voice through the twilight, very small and still, like music sounding from a distance, in which the notes are clear but the words are lost. The girl turned to see if someone had spoken from the window above them, but she saw no one. Then the old man's lips began to move, as if in answer, and she heard him say in the Parthian tongue: "Not so, my Lord! For when saw I thee an hungered, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw I thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee? When saw I thee sick or in prison, and came unto thee? Three-and-thirty years have I looked for thee; but I have never seen thy face, nor ministered to thee, my King." A calm radiance of wonder and joy lighted the pale face of Artaban like the first ray of dawn on a snowy mountain-peak. One long, last breath of relief exhaled gently from his lips. His journey was ended. His treasures were accepted. The other Wise Man had found the King. MOP is taking a deep breath through the Andean range. Some months before “The Magic Man EP” landed to earth. Trippin Jaguar will guide you along with his sound that rides the line between lucid and transcendental.  The thoughtful layering of acoustic instrumentation and captured sounds over electronic foundations mean the intricacies tend to unfold with each listen, like a good trip should.   Acid Break is a credit to his uniqueness and willingness to push the artistic boundaries, with an unrivalled ability to bring seldom heard soundscapes to the dance floor.  Trippin Jaguar enlisted a group of equally experimental remixers. Canadian comrades Nathan Hall & Johnny Posh reworked "Glow" into a cosmic and spaced out number with equal amounts of tension and ease. Analog atmosphere master Oora is back on the label with his dreamy downtempo rendition of Acid Break while Japanese expat turned  Canadian live set specialist Tokiomi makes his debut on the label with a heavy and heady remix of Mar Sara.

Produced 100% Analog #SuckMyElectricity. Gear used Behringer X32 Producer, Korg Volca Bass/Sample/Keys , Korg Monotribe and Elektron Octatrack
