Johnny Crawford also known as Jonni Rockett was born in East Point, Georgia. Jonni describes his music as unorthodox, because you'll never know what you'll get out of him. It could be trap, trap pop or even soul; maybe all three at once. Currently, Jonni is going through a transformation and manifestation in his career. Growing up Jonni felt that he was often stifled living with his parents. While his Mom was gone Jonni would get into it with his siblings which led him to living with his cousins. While he was away, he would spend hours working on his craft.
 
What sets Jonni apart from everyone is his personality, views on life and his character. Sometimes he would want to fit in so bad until he realized that standing out was not so bad. But in some ways, he would look at himself as a weirdo in his own way. Jonni started writing music in High school. Music became his outlet and motivator.
