Let’s Get The Party Started (feat. Bring Me The Horizon)

Warren goes over the history of Eddie Van Halen and how his legacy has significantly impacted the music industry. Warren and Jamie Humphries also explain the technicalities behind Eddie’s guitar playing and how unique and different it is.&nbsp; Van Halen had only recently been signed to Warner at the time of Fowly’s review, and the Los Angeles band hadn’t yet released their landmark debut album. But they had created a tremendous following in the Los Angeles area with a massive heavy metal sound emerging from a small three piece band (David Lee Roth fronted the group as a consummate showman, but left the instrumental part to Eddie on guitar, Eddie’s brother Alex on drums and Michael Anthony on bass). By the time the band released their eponymous first album in February of 1978, Van Halen was poised for almost-certain commercial success. But nothing could have prepared audiences for the album’s completely instrumental second track, “Eruption,” in which Eddie groundbreaking guitar playing was showcased, full-force, for the world to see. Queen's groundbreaking 1973 debut album Queen has been remixed, remastered, and expanded in a 6CD+1LP box set titled Queen I Collector’s Edition. This edition restores the album to how Queen originally intended, remixed by Justin Shirley-Smith, Joshua J Macrae, and Kris Fredriksson. It includes a new tracklisting, alternative takes, demos, and live tracks, along with the very first stereo remix of a Queen album.

The 6CD+1LP set features 63 tracks, 43 of which are brand-new mixes, including intimate studio audio, rare live recordings, and Queen’s first-ever live performance from London in August 1970. Notably, the previously excluded track "Mad the Swine" has been reintroduced to its original place in the running order. Accompanying the set is a 108-page book with handwritten lyrics and memorabilia, housed in a two-piece box with a fold-out poster and photo prints.

His Rhythm and Lead playing have been the inspiration of many guitar gods today including Slash of Guns n Roses.
