I was trying to touch my toes while stretching in the kitchen. The KSBJ Morning Show saw this and I didn't see them. While looking for mustard in a cabinet for my tuna breakfast, trying stay limber,  eating healthy results into this live audio.

Visiting Elementary schools for radio interviews, I realized I needed a trick to engage the little ones. So I started teaching them a radio trick. This is the trick they learn. They learn to Smile When They Talk. Even when their mom asks them to do chores.

Alexis and I are expecting our 1st baby on Veteran's Day November 11, 2015! This will be so much fun! Since I work at 89.3 KSBJ and the staff is so excited they share with our KSBJ listeners in Houston the good news recently!

Hall of Fame baseball players Cal Ripken Jr. was in Houston on Tuesday 6.25.13 at Spring Spirit Baseball for Transistions. 

Was an honor to meet and interview one of my favorite baseball players (that wasn't a Houston Astro -growing up) Cal Ripken Jr.

Some of Cal Ripkens accomplishments:
-19 time MLB All Star
-Had 3,000+ hits
-98% of first time ballot Hall of Fame votes
-Played in the all time record 2,632 straight MLB baseball games
-2 time Major League Baseball MVP
-1983 World Series Champion

CAL RIPKEN Jr. interview with Johnny B

Johnny B is from Houston Texas and he has a passion for music and encouraging people to reach their highest potential. He showed absolute commitment and dedication in grade school by graduating with Perfect Attendance from Kindergarten through 12th grade. That is 13 years of never missing a day of school! During that streak of perfection he continued playing drums with his Church’s youth group while recording on many studio albums in the process as a drummer.

Johnny B also known as Johnny Bravo started working in radio, hosting events, modeling and acting around the ripe and ready age of 18 years of age. His radio career started as a labor of free love, he showed up, then arrived the next day, and again the day after for about 6 months, all for the dream of entertaining. Then, after engineering his way into the relationships of the managers he became a part time radio promotions at 104.1 KRBE .  A month later he received a promotion then Johnny B took over a department at the radio station and then his big opportunity was availed. Johnny B became a member of the Sam Malone and Maria Todd morning show on 104.1 KRBE!

Now Johnny B has traveled around the world hosting events by being an energetic boxing ring announcer, beauty pageant host and more. Johnny has been the ring announcer for Golden Boy Boxing for HBO Championship Boxing! Johnny B also is a Live DJ for clients, he has consulted up and coming radio talents, does Voice Overs for his dedicated clients as well. In addition, over 10 years later he worked at the same radio company as an on-air talent and a manager for 104.1 KRBE, ESPN Radio Houston! (Cumulus Media). Currently Johnny B works proudly with 89.3 KSBJ as the Promotions Outreach Manager and is on air when with KSBJ on the Street as well.
