The initial hook for this song came to me in a dream and I was lucky enough to record a voice memo to capture it in the middle of the night! The lyrics are a firsthand account of meeting my wife and the story of our 20+ years of marriage.

It's a fun song born out a funny moment...
We were talking, and Amy said, "I like the idea of that." Of course I said," I like the idea of you. " Then I realized how shallow and bad that sounded. So I followed that up immediately with "I like you," which I do, but it's not the full depth of emotion I feel obviously. So I said, "I love you," which felt right. At that point, I laughed and said, "That's my next song."
