I stumbled upon an AMAZING Mashup from Flipboitamidles and I wanted to use it in sets. While I could easily fit this in live, I wanted to create something that I could just drop and go. It's no lie that Drum N Bass and Drumstep is a favorite of mine, so Kove really won me over with his remix and I just had to use it in with this. So, a few quick tweaks in Ableton, and here you go! Enjoy!

Saw the reports about Nari and Milani basically ripping off/copying Mr. Oizo's  "Flat Beat". Checked it out and agreed, it was way too obvious/similar. So I got curious and overlapped the preview of "Triangle" with "Flat Beat". Let your ears decide.

Regardless, could do some cool phazing with it.

Originally I came across Arthur Fleming's mashup of these tracks (you can find it here http://soundcloud.com/arthurfleming/yuna-vs-ludacris-runaway) and while I enjoyed the idea of the tracks together, I didn't really enjoy his execution of the two together. That being said, I decided to create my own. The main differences is that I removed ALL of Mary J Blige's parts. They just sounded off key and out of tune and it really didn't fit the song much. Yuna's vocals were just a MUCH better fit. I also extended the track to fit the vocals of Runaway Love. Regardless, people are allowed opinions and I'm sure some of you will enjoy Arthur's more than mine. Either way, I owe him the respect of his creation and give him full credit for the idea.

Ever since I was young, I was connected to music. Since then, I've lived, breathed, and bled music. It's an extremely big passion of mine that is my escape from reality and something I truly love to share with the world. The only thing I want in this world is to express myself through my production and hopefully inspire or infect people with the same passion that I have for music. My goal isn't to profit or become some big sell out. My goal is stay true to my own musical passion and bring the people the sounds they need to get to their own escapes from reality. 

On March 23rd, 2014, I lost someone that meant the world to me. At her wake, I promised I would carry on doing whatever I could to fulfill my dreams and achieve whatever I could through music. All the music I make from that date out, is purely due to the inspiration and motivation she gave me as well as the comfort of knowing that she always believed in me. Her spirit lives through my music.
