Le producteur lyonnais Schvédranne dévoile son concept album réalisé avec le poète mythique de San Francisco, Jack Hirschman.

Le titre de l’album Vanity Vanity All Is Vanity donne le ton philosophique de cet opus : "Le monde est en marche, et nul besoin d’être vaniteux·se, on avance quoi qu’il arrive". Ce postulat, c'est l’idée portée par ce concept album qui se trouve être un véritable recueil sonore, à la manière d’un film, avec un rythme et un scénario, alternant scènes militantes, intimes et métaphysiques.

En s’immergeant dans ces 13 titres, chacun·e peut vivre, quelque part dans son être, des émotions universelles et éclairer, comme il·elle l’entend, son propre chemin. Ce disque est une histoire de rencontres, de visions et de luttes communes transposées en musique. L’électronique, le blues et le trip-hop illustrent les mots et les poèmes du pilier de la beat generation.

„Lost & Found“ presents unreleased material from Bajka and Niko Schabel, famous for their hits „The Hop“ and „Summertime“ with fans all over the world. And it features two unheard collaborations with MPC wizard Masajjaa.

This record is a dive into the history of Radio Citizen´s early Berlin days and in spite of all the time gone by this album sounds as edgy and fresh as „Berlin Serengeti“ and „Hope and Despair“ from the years 2006 and 2010.

Radio Citizen is a project by mastermind Niko Schabel and a changing group of musicians from Munich and Berlin, including on this recording the "classic" horn section with Teresa Gruber and Wolfi Schlick, Klaus Janek on double bass and the brilliant drummer Julian Waiblinger.

Bajka is a vocalist and artist born India with a distinctive voice that reminds in some ways of Billie Holiday and Erykah Badu. Apart from Radio Citizen she worked among others with Beanfield (check out the Carl Craig remix), Dissidenten and Bonobo. And Bajka released records under her own name, check out her wonderful single on Jazzman Records, Bajka in Wonderland and Bajka with Rejoicer.

Does mystical materialism exist? Is it a trend or a concept yet to be explored? Are new products being created under this label? We don't know anything about it here, but we've imagined that such a thing might eventually exist, though we don't know if it's for better or worse.

Approaching Mystical Materialism

After a long gestation period, E-G-G is now emerging as the synthesis of sound research and introspection by french producer Rare0000 (rare-four-zeros).
Through four resolutely club-oriented tracks, the EP unfolds an alien universe where each sound becomes living matter. Textures expand, frequencies fragment and rhythms contort while the electrostatic layers that run through the entire project sketch the shifting cartography of an inner and outer world in perpetual revolution.
Two remixes extend the experience: Seattle-based producer enereph offers a percussive and cybernetic reinterpretation of “Rebound”, while french artist RAVL intensifies “Clutch” with an abrasive technoid version.

Fruit d’une longue gestation, E-G-G éclôt aujourd’hui comme la synthèse d’un travail de recherche sonore et introspectif signé par le producteur français Rare0000 (rare-quatre-zéros).
À travers quatre titres résolument club, l’EP déploie un univers alien où chaque son devient matière vivante. Les textures se dilatent, les fréquences se fragmentent et les rythmes se contorsionnent tandis que les nappes électrostatiques qui traversent l’ensemble du projet esquissent la cartographie mouvante d’un monde intérieur et extérieur en perpétuelle révolution.
