"Not a new, this one... The song was scrapped by me in the late stage of the recording process in the beginning of 2022. I was never supposed to finish this or any other song anymore. However... This one seemed to have a will of its own. I was a mere servant as I was possessed to pull this purest form of post-life contempt and scorn towards all mankind through!

So... After almost eight months of slow'n'steady steps it's finally completed! This was very unusual working method for us as we're more of a "wash and go" style of a band when it comes to songwriting, recording, mixing and releasing our stuff.

So... From now on, as has been for some time now, Herra H. Hereetikko is the one responsible for all the new musical work of Johnny Of The Alucards. So no changes there and all for the better of the band!

Literally this is it... An ancient rite performed (even though not in the dawn of time) for the celebration of a dawn and the roots of this band. What on the surface is another nod to the influential movie made in 1972 is in fact more of a throwback to the emotions that have risen with it - and they're stuck like a glue! What an excellent tune by Hereetikko and the channelling lead guitar performances by SH are definetly out there among the best of what we've ever accomplished! For pity's sake, we definetly do! Another EP! Another great "heavier-than-heavy" stonery tune (completely composed and mostly recorded by Herra H. Hereetikko) accompanied with thematically unified intermezzo and coda (mostly done by John(ny)). Kudos also to JG, JAV and Søren Komfortsen. Without the gathering of these energies all of our songs would be less... Even though at best they're pretty worthless anyway...

And to be more intricate about the seemingly superficial lyrics... All "exhales" on all the music (one concept, two songs, three parts) have stoned-out yet highly occult undertones that surfaced in the process (in a non pleasant, very consuming way I can assure you)... "I have always known that the happiness looks back with hatred in the mirror. The mirror never reflects a perfect imitation. Never. You are less without the reflection yet more than it.
