My recent remix treatment of Mutemath's new single, Odd Soul. It's been so awesome to combine the music I love to listen to with the style I love to write in. With a psychedelic synths, a fat bass line and racing drum loop, I hope Paul, Darren and Roy can get into this as much as I've gotten into the original.

Night: this whirling tempest, this maelstrom
Has not discovered the heart of things,
Has not uncovered my secret soul.
I sit and watch for calm, for the peace 
Of stars aligned, walking hand in hand 
Towards the day…             There is not 
A moment left of frost or gloaming.
The winter ended so long ago,
With it ended fear – ended waiting.

The heart at the heart of my heart
Beats faster now that all has changed.
I may not be the man I was 
Before I was the man I am
But I will be turned back around -
The seasons are turned back around.

Summer sun drinks in the dew -
Morning light makes all things new.
