Abîme co-founders Ytem and Chams unites for a split EP, Abîmés, composed of one solo track each and their first official collaboration, ‘VVM’. 

The latter subtly combines Ytem's cellos with the piano and vocals of Chams, all bound together by the industrial drums they share a common interest for.

The first track of the EP, Chams’ ‘Fou allié’, is at the same time a continuation and a rupture with his last release. As he continues to explore the vocal side of his music, he adopts a way more straightforward approach that makes ‘Fou allié’ what could be called an anthem, layering his performance on top of an emotional vocal sample.

On his solo track ‘Torsion’, Ytem is showcasing his ability to brilliantly arrange cellos, in a complex structure that somehow manages to appears fluid and consistent despite the constant evolution that the piece undergoes.
