!! use your headphones !!

this is the set liveset I played on the 4d system in amsterdam during my residency in April 2014. 
Equipment used: MFB Tanzbär, Clavia Nordrack2, TeenageEngineering OP-1, Arturia Microbrute and AbletonLive as master clock, sampler and midi sequencer. 

Everything on the 4D sound was tweaked by hand in real-time, as well as the whole arrangement. I preprogrammed some chords and grooves on my machines though. 

The 4D System is an advanced spatial sound system and the set is binaural (also called dummy head) recorded - in order to get an idea of how it sounded you need to use your headphones.

From the 3rd of the 4 shows in the Domestic Rubatosis series that debuted in Philadelphia, this is a 20 minute (well, 19) soundscape detailing what someone might dream in one night. 

In the original show, the audience was escorted 2 at a time through a space populated by a handful of actors. This is that soundscape the audience would listen to on headphones so if you choose to listen I highly recommend doing the same!

Domestic Rubatosis: Lucid Dreamscape

This is a binaural recording of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah". I'm singing the main melody, with Sarah Flaim and DevinRe Adams singing harmonies. 

It is completely a cappella and sung in Solmssen Court at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

Best if listened to with quality headphones.
