My life has been a bit hectic. Haven't been doing enough music. I decided to cover one of my favorite singers and a great song. 

Al to me is the last of the soul singers that really connected with me on a really deep level. He's one of the most expressive singers I've ever heard in my life. It will take me a lifetime to catch up.  

I dedicate this cover to his greatness and to a loved one.

I should be getting a 'polished' electric guitar recording situation pretty soon so I keep putting off recording music.

Screw that. This song has so many things I love about music all in one. Shouting transgressive lyrics louder than you probably should, a great melody, great harmonies and pure dirty rock n roll.  

Sometimes you just got to do what you love even if it sounds like it was done drunkenly in a cardboard box with a washing machine and vacuum cleaner buzzing about. And you know, maybe sometimes that's how it should be done?

I've been in love with this song. I've got people in my life I can only see in dreams so the sentiment is pure.

In Dreams (Roy Orbison Cover)

I lost my favorite artist and number one inspiration.

This is one of my favorite songs ever written and it's had a very personal meaning to me on many levels.
