Rose Ringed is back with hyper energized EP Broken Belief with a new dimension

Rose Ringed returns with a new ultra-high energy, upbeat EP on his imprint Closed Eyes Recordings, but this time packing a more spiritual punch. Broken Belief will dance your feet bare and have your hands in the air, while brilliantly examining the conflict of free will with religious belief. Have faith – the Amsterdammer multi-instrumentalist DJ/producer can do it, while adding a few extra zeros-worth of new disciples to his massive streaming stats.

The 3 tracks chart the struggle between the sacred and the secular, using not only his signature genre-busting, hyperspeed euphoric style, but also the powerful sounds of choral vocals and thunderous organ notes. There is a clear progression through the EP. 

Lost Religion: stunning choral notes open before fast, madly dancey note progressions and bags of slap-happy beats build compulsively to a breakdown of angelic voices, as spirit and free will ecstatically fight it out. ‘The first time I played it live it amazed me how people reacted. The big break makes everyone wonder what’s to come, then when the main hook comes back in everyone is feeling the tension, the drop into the heavy subbase and steady groove makes everyone fist pump like a madman every time I play it.’ 

Leap of Faith: the choir start strong, deep and portentous with a heavy drum beat, before frenetic, insanely fast 80s electronica kicks down the doors. Breakdown brings back the voices and organ, before the synths start to really sing, with a joyful, high note melody like an electronic vox humana. ‘Every time the big break with the organ chords comes in people lose it! A perfect track to enter the night. We take these leaps of faith to fulfil our dreams, to give us purpose.’

Where Have You Been: drum and hi-hat at breakneck speed with buzzing synths and bass hit us first, the choral voices now fully synthesised into glorious harmony. ‘The silence before the big synth drop has everyone screaming and cheering. When the drop hits you can actually hear people say: “WOWW”. I just can’t control myself putting my hands in the air throughout this track!’ 

And neither will you – believe!

Amsterdam DJ/multi-instrumentalist Rose Ringed returns with three tracker ‘For Us’ EP. 

The Dutch producer enlists both analogue and digital sounds, multiple synths and choral vocal notes, and diverse genres – melodic techno, house, euphoria, synthpop – in his quest to bring joy to blissed-out clubbers and listeners. Recent releases have explored major questions of spirituality and truth. ‘For Us’ tells a more romantic love story, still high energy and uplifting, but with a darker edge.  

‘I gravitate between an external perspective of concepts that fascinate me, and an internal perspective mostly about deep inner emotions,’ says Rose Ringed. Here, he plays creatively with breakdowns too: long solo, or a sudden silence, or a breakdown building into another… 

Fight For Love; dreamy synth chords behind fast, bounding bass and drums, build to the sustained breakdown with its choral notes and chiming arps like falling snow, the breathy, resonant melody entrances as the organ adds gravitas auguring the drop, before all elements unite in a high energy finale. ‘The most personal track I’ve ever put out,’ says Ringed. ‘This and ‘WLYG’ reflect times I had to fight for very significant loved ones.’

Nights Without; powerfully fast but darker, more urgent sound patterns, growling bassline, a plangent melody, and after the breakdown, bags of bass, jittery percussion, a sudden breathing space of silence, before the wild ride to the finish. ‘I wanted this track to be “cold” in the beat and very “warm” on the breaks. Like the beat parts are the nights without “her” and the breaks are “with her”.’

Won’t Let You Go features a strong, fast, staccato synth melody constantly hooking the listener yet varying, over a deep, deep humming bass, with a sort of double breakdown. Simultaneously danceable and listenable. ‘When I first played this, at De Zon festival, I was so amazed by the reaction. The breakdown features field recordings I made on the beach in Kenya with my dad.’

Diynamic’s Four To The Floor 25 is here.
First up is „Get It Now“ by Pôngo, two Italian brothers who deliver a dramatic high energy melodic techno track with acidy bass arps, 80s horn leads and their own vocals.
Dutch artist Rose Ringed’s „Never Stop“ is an ominous electro ritual that could be set in a cathedral, and even with a minimal amount of elements Rose Ringed manages to transport an exuberance of emotionality.
Down the rabbit hole we go with Sylvain Le Kick’s „Night Mood“. Psychotic synths, a ticking clock and a whole lot of attitude will make you go all out when you hear this track.
And closing off the FTTF25 is UK DJ and producer Moritz with „Midnight Soul“, a thoughtful piece that makes you close your eyes, turn inward and observe what’s going on within yourself.

Rose Ringed is back with a brilliant dancefloor approved three-tracker on his own Closed Eyes Recordings imprint. 'The Journey' EP is pure Rose Ringed - high energy, fast and euphoric with just an edge of melancholy, referencing the trance CDs which were the soundtrack and emotional catharsis of his childhood. This EP will hit you in the heart. 

'You're Already There' has synths - the growling bassline, the slow-build chords, and the fast, choppy melodic riffs - competing between those arresting trancey breakdowns. 

'Reaching for Paradise' has a joyful flow with cascades of playful synth melody, and a spoken vocal motif, to hold even a champion multitasker like a blissed-out deer in heaven's headlights.

'Hold Tight' is insistent, commanding, with speedy scattery synth melody, powerful beat and drums, and a subtle flavour of Depeche Mode in the aftertaste. Just beautiful, lend it your ears, you won't want them back.

Romain Garcia unveils ‘Sevilla’, the first single from his forthcoming EP ‘Digital Diva’.

French music producer, live act and DJ, Romain Garcia is one of Anjunadeep’s most exciting upcoming talents. Having debuted on the label in 2022 with ‘Before You Go EP’, Romain has since then released another two EPs, remixed the likes of CRi and Moon Boots and appeared at a string of Anjunadeep shows, captivating the fanbase with his infectious sound and undeniable energy.

Featuring rousing synths, a vibrant lead and enigmatic chimes, ‘Sevilla’ is a captivating and intriguing composition.

Following the single release, France 2, the second most-watched channel in France is set to release a documentary about the electronic music scene in the country, featuring Romain as one of its main representatives.

In the coming months Romain will be performing on Anjunadeep’s India tour, and playing at London’s Village Underground, The Vermont Hollywood in LA and Anjunadeep Explorations among other still-to-be-announced shows.

Rose Ringed, still on a high from his recent remix of Reflekt’s UK #1 ‘Need To Feel Loved’ supported by Pete Tong, Joris Voorn, Eelke Kleijn et al, is back on his own Closed Eyes Recordings imprint with multi-genre three-track EP ‘Prism’.

The Amsterdam multi-instrumentalist/DJ/producer raids melodic techno, house, euphoric trance, synthpop, to bring high-energy uplift but also deep emotion to ravers and listeners, after the tragic childhood loss of his beloved jazz ballerina Mum caused the 11 year old to seek comfort in the euphoria of his dad's electronic music CDs - a catharsis he feels driven to share - and don't we all need more joy? Hence his ever-higher support from fans and industry names alike; with Joris Voorn, he played B2B at his sold-out Album live show, and the two released an EP together; as well as the Reflekt remix, RR also remixed ESTIVA’s ‘Snow Flower’, and played before Solomun (Hangar Brussels, 10k audience), Adriatique (OFF Sonar), and is booked for Tomorrowland and Mysteryland.  

‘Stands Still’ (w. Julia Adriana): choppy organ notes over a jumping house beat and a fast, high synth melody showcase Adriana’s voice - now layered, now solo in long, sustained notes of stunning clarity – singing of ‘those moments in which the world just stops, your thoughts spinning with you. The control needed for those extended still phrases is just incredible,’ says Rose Ringed of his ‘friend and amazing talent’. 

‘All I Need’ is a full-on blast of speed and joy, with diamond-sharp house beat, techno-ish acid upper bass, spare distorted ‘morse’ melody, an insistent, poppy vocal riff, a big build breakdown bringing a trance drop which already has hands and energy through the roof in his DJ sets… hard to pin down the genre but easy to feel the lift it brings. 

‘Big Bang’: a steady portentous build via a displaced beat with ratatat percussion, choral chords bringing gravitas, speeding up, the extended breakdown with frantic high siren synth notes, the drop, the BIG bang –woven from RR’s doodling of a rhythmic G in 3 octaves inspiring him to ‘keep a repetitive G throughout, developing and bursting into the final explosion. I found a chord progression to glide underneath that lead which brought the story I always look for in my tracks.’
