Cassowary Beat Extended

I've been sitting on about 50 tracks that I just haven't had the willpower to post, which is why my Soundcloud has been dead since Grove. Since a lot of people liked my cassowary edit that was really just a joke, I'm feeling a little motivated to release some of my actual work, most stuff I just let sit and collect dust because I don't think it sounds very good. It's hard to tell what is good anymore after you've listened to it hundreds of times in the process of making it... lol

This track is from late 2022, made while working with a non-musician buddy of mine; XpiredSalt.

Remix of various samples from JackSucksAtLife's editing challenge. Melody is original and was done by yours truly in about 3 hours.

Samples have only been modified using EQ, reverb, delay, and minor time stretching in a few spots.

This is the first time I've done anything of this calibre, and frankly, I'm quite happy with the result.

My first foray into Synthwave as a genre. This will likely be my best (and most finished...) track of 2020, unless I can stop procrastinating a pull an even bangier banger out 'me arse.
