Cette semaine dans Dose de Chaos, on reçoit @joia_dj, artiste franco-brésilienne qui évolue dans les univers trance, bass et techno, avec une forte appétence pour des rythmes breakés et percussifs. Elle aime construire des sets progressifs et éclectiques, alternant entre ambiances joyeuses & taquines, et moments de grande intensité et de lâcher-prise.
JOIA est résidente chez BAE party et développe un projet de hybrid live dj set aux côtés du percussionniste Anas.

Pour ce podcast, elle a dresse une progression aux allures "d'éveil tropical", d’une blague entre potes, ou d’un après-midi à Pe:rsona. La rythmique au premier rôle, quelques fois plutôt surprenante voire comique, ce set entre deep techno, dubstep et bass music (entre autres) est à écouter en tout lieu et à tout moment !

"This is my very first set that's mostly techno.

When it came to choosing what kind of techno to play, I went with tracks that mostly resonate to me, blending multiple sub-genres including deep and dub techno, with sonorities sometimes flirting with psytrance.

I aimed to create an ecstatic and immersive atmosphere, moving between intense peaks and joyful moments of release.

A 4x4 rhythm that shifts, evolves, and builds up to an explosion.
