What started out as a university project has evolved into a real record label with an identity and a vision. We are extremely proud of what Vault is becoming and we are even more grateful for the artists who have entrusted us with their art. 

We are celebrating with our largest project yet, an ep featuring remixes of our favourite releases from our foundational year as a label. We’ve collected remixes from very well-respected and abundantly talented producers including, Nick The Lot, 4K, Kontakt, Posk, Geo & Bruxley. We feel these artists represent the sound and direction in which Vault will venture and this project is step along that path.

Formation Records 4-man crew of Birmingham-based producers ‘Streetz of Rage’ have been smashing it and are ready to serve you their fully charged ‘Mind Flayer’ E.P. 

The unsettling arpeggiators and gritty pads of the titled track Mind Clear will have you counting down the seconds in a sense of dread, while the drop ushers in menacing sonics for a truly deep, dark and gully experience on this heavy-duty creeper. 

The eerie introduction to ‘Be one of us’ gives you that uneasy feeling as if you're being watched in the dark. Creepy layered pads atop brisk drums, crafted together intricately, sends shivers down your spine as you anxiously await the gnarled, growling and gritty soundscape that follows in a stomach lurching drop. 

The apocalyptic ‘Villan’ is just as curdling as expected. The tight drums, eerie keys and flesh-eating sound effects will have you feeling as if you're the last one on earth stuck in the vast sense of spaciousness, waiting for the deep, dark, drop. 

‘Rminder’ is the calm after the storm. It is the sensational number showcasing their unique varied sound in the genre. Filled with soft atmospheres, crafted grooves and rolling bass notes, this concluding masterpiece is not one to be ignored.
