Veritable giants of the underground house scene, Kastis Torrau and Donatello are masters of their craft. With the "Genesis" EP, the duo provided a landmark moment with a stunning debut EP for Proton Music. As we now return to the twin-track offering. Two high-profile remixes UK and US producers see "Ida" transformed.

Barry Jamieson's name is writ large throughout the history of dance music. UK born but now operating from his New Jersey studio, the Grammy nominated US based producer is responsible for a plethora of projects that have shaped a generation. Responsible for mixing all of Sasha's music since 2003, Jamieson's work alongside Charlie May and Sasha himself over a number of years, saw tracks that included the era-defining "Xpander" alongside the genre-defining "Involver" albums. A studio engineer and technical visionary of global renown, regular appearances on film and TV including the ever-popular, "CSI" add further to a stellar reputation.

A hugely-respected producer and engineer under his own name and soubriquets including the celebrated, Evolution, Jamieson's work for Kyubu, Golden Wings and microCastle has been a revelation with the latter accounting for a host of high-profile remixes of DNYO, Ricky Ryan and Cid Inc. Furthermore, Jamieson's own Circular Sound Recordings has been a successful vehicle for his music as the monthly Circular Sound show on Proton Radio showcases the very best in underground club sounds that fill airwaves and dance floors. Making his very welcome debut on Proton Music, the Barry Jamieson remix of "Ida" is a deliciously evolving piece that cleverly integrates elements of the original while supplying legion additional production, not least by a smooth, rich bass line that is the perfect counterpoint to Torrau and Donatello's bass. Textured pads and a 303-tinged lead reach their zenith at the breakdown before a brash, bold beat hypnotises once more in the third and fourth movements in a work that is yet another showcase for Jamieson's ever-expanding talents.

A man very much a product of the modern dance industry, Darin Epsilon's rise to the upper echelons of the underground scene has been nothing short of meteoric. Hailing from Chicago but now firmly ensconced in the vibrant 'city of angels', Los Angeles based Epsilon has made a significant name for himself via his "Perspectives" empire. Both a hugely successful radio show with thousands of listeners and an important label with a multitude of followers and supporters, Darin Epsilon is a force to be reckoned with. Over 2 million Soundcloud plays are testament to this support as are regular DJ performances across his homeland and on a global stage alongside the likes of Cattaneo, Warren, Digweed and Sasha.

Darin Epsilon's production career is no less impressive as a host of blue chip labels play host to his music including Sudbeat, Hope, Perfecto and Black Hole. Over a century of credits can also be found on his own Perspectives digital through an array of original and remix production material as Cid Inc., Petar Dundov and Quivver have all lined up to reinterpret his work. Making a welcome debut on Proton Music, the Darin Epsilon remix of "Ida" takes the elements so central to the original, intelligently reworking them into a delicate, hypnotic offering that reinterprets Torrau and Donatello's work with immaculate precision and attention to detail. The result is a work that bristles with instantly recognisable dance floor dynamism.

Booka Shade deliver their Rosebud EP for John Digweeds Bedrock imprint this November, featuring three new original tracks from the Berlin duo.

Blaufield Music founders Booka Shade have long been respected figures in the contemporary electronic music scene having racked up a handful of crossover cuts amongst their regular output aimed towards more underground realms. Here we see them focusing on the latter with a new EP for the esteemed Bedrock label, headed up by John Digweed and home to material from the likes of Guy Gerber, Guy J, Eagles & Butterflies and of course the label founder himself.

Booka Shade : "We have been extremely fortunate in our careers having our music released on many revered and renowned labels. We are particularly humbled and proud to have DJ legend John Digweed pick three of our tracks for a release on Bedrock."

Title-track Rosebud leads with an amalgamation of dark and brooding bass tones, percussive chimes and a bubbling arpeggio lead at its core whilst ethereal voices and resonant leads ebb and flow within.

Lust 2.1 follows with the focus on tension building atmospherics, metallic percussive rolls echoing vocal chops before marimba like synth tones and chugging arpeggios take the spotlight to tail out the composition.

In Velvet then rounds out the package with elongated subs, sweeping atmospherics and a choppy synth sequence all dynamically evolving and unfolding around an organic drum groove driving the composition.

Watergate favourites GHEIST make their long-awaited label debut.

There’s an auspicious connection between GHEIST and Watergate; the Berlin four-piece played their very first live show at the club in 2017. Since this time, not only have they become tried and true favourites at the Oberbaumbrücke hotspot, but they’ve caught the ears of electronic music fans the world over, establishing themselves as one of the most promising new acts on the scene.

After stellar releases on Last Night On Earth, Diynamic and their own Radau Records, ‘Zukunft’ is a fitting debut, shining with the GHEIST’s trademark juxtaposition of melancholic and euphoric tones. The title arouses an immediate nostalgia courtesy of its shimmering combination of organ stabs, scattered vocal effects and smooth bass. ‘Disclose Yours’ will make the hairs on your arms stand up with its major key synth riff and stirring vocal. Completing the package is a slick dub, primed for the early hours.

JoJo's name can be associated with many high end electronic music groups in Estonia. Piidivabrik, I Land Sound, Black Box & Elektröönika to name a few. He likes to play highly energetic sets full of groove that are at the same time loaded with emotions. At just 22 years old, JoJo has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the scene, including Ben Böhmer,  Township Rebellion, Mees Salome, Eelke Kleijn, Sainte Vie, Tibi Dabo, Nico Stojan, Nils Hoffmann, Tim Engelhardt, Ante Perry, Audiojack, Eats Everything and Chris Lake. JoJo has made his first steps in releasing his own productions. In the year 2025 he released two official tracks and a handful of remixes. Still, a lot is yet to come.
