I have always been a HUGE fan of the wonderful Mike Oldfield. Some of my very first listening was of his music. This cover is of the beautiful "Moonlight Shadow" from the 1983 album "Crisis" it featured the wonderful vocals of Maggie Reilly.

I present to you my cover of the psychedelic love fest, that is "Sowing The Seeds Of Love" by Tears For Fears. Released in 1989 on the album "Seeds Of Love". It became a Worldwide hit even though it was critically panned for being a "Beatles Derivitive". It was also one of the most expensive Studio Albums of the 80s. Costing a WHOPPING!!  $1,000,000 . I LOVE IT , i hope you do too.

I have long been in love with the brilliant "Jeff Wayne's - War Of The Worlds". I went to see it performed live a few years ago, and it was just as amazing as it was 40 years ago. 
"Forever Autumn" originally sung by the great Justin Hayward on the album is perhaps my favorite track. So i am delighted to be able to present to you my version.

I fell in love with this song after i heard it on the soundtrack of the Movie "Notting Hill". It was sang by the wonderful Elvis Costello. It was a cover by him of a track written and sang by Charles Aznavour in 1974.

Back to the 80s AGAIN for another cover. This time of the wonderful 1986 track "(I Just)Died In Your Arms" by the British group CUTTING CREW.
My version is a little more BOMBASTIC than the original , i hope you enjoy it.

Written in 1932 by the incredible Irving Berlin. It was an adaptation of an even earlier song he wrote in 1930 for the Al Jolson movie "Mammy" .
It has since been recorded by artists as diverse as Chet Baker, Nat King Cole, Miles Davis , Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Eric Clapton , Diana Krall and most recently by Solveig Slettahjell.
