JOKAH is a very talented artist from the city of mount vernon,ny. He was born and raised there. He never had it is growing up so he turned to music to hide from the pain or release it. soon he began writing his own lyrics he wrote his very first song in 1st grade with a few of his friends. He started to take it seriously at the age of 18. Along with his producer sam swagger who he says is also a very close friend from elementary school. He has also put out 2 mix tapes PARDON MY BACK in 2011, WHY SO SERIOUS in 2012, SCHRODINGER'S CAT in 2013 and now hes is working on his first "FULLY INDEPENDENT" album titled THE IN-BETWEEN. A for now he is dropping a 5 song EP a sister project if you will called FOR "THE IN-BETWEEN" TIME(because of joy) he has released the first single called "WAVE" featured by none other then Swagger Sam and SillyBoyDREW which is already blowing up SoundCloud.
