Any phenomena can be mapped to sound and music. Using different types sounds, groupings by sound, mapping functions between measurable phenomena and output (e.g. numeric multipliers), allows for nearly infinite music variation.
Here we present a coding system based on a protein structure to sound correspondence. Music video based on this mapping plays and shows the structure of the protein in real time. The music tracks are based the shortest known protein - 1L2Y Trp-Cage, the music video is based on one of the shortest human protein – Humanin. Humanin shows neuroprotective and cytoprotective effects in disease modeling, including protection against Alzheimer's, Huntington's, prion disease and stroke models. In a completely artistic rendering (that does not have confirmed physiological benefits) one can imagine it as a healing placebo music. 
Mapping: each cluster of five amino acids, in descending alphabetical order, was mapped to the single percussion instrument with the addition of default drum kick and a base line, representing peptide bonds and secondary structure, respectively. Each type of sound is coded as an on/off switch. It starts with the first appearance of the amino acid from corresponding group and ends with the next appearance of an amino acid from the same group.
Other coding systems are possible and desirable to explore.
Variation in coding allows for multiple interpretation of the same protein.
Besides protein (RNA/DNA) the other sources for sound mapping can be used, including astrophysical, meteorological, geological, biological and social. Cyclical phenomena would be especially useful for generating rhythmic sounds (circadian rhythms, tides, rotations and revolutions of celestial bodies, heartbeat etc.). 
We hypothesize a possibility of music generation based on human body activity, enhanced in real-time with a direct brain interface. It might work as an individual life soundtrack or collaborative projects, where people map their individual sounds to individual body functions and pull all sounds together for the group symphony.
