toothfairy began in the early 90s as a solo side-project for Jon, playing regularly at the Arena night club in Middlesbrough and around the North East. it evolved into a full band by the late 90s and fizzled out in the early 00s. after a lengthy hiatus Jon returned to playing with bands occasionally then in 2018 he had a particularly bad case of sciatica leaving him in constant pain all over his body. He quit alcohol as tests were being done to find the cause of the pain and was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2019. months of trying different medications followed until a combination was found to alleviate the pain. then lockdown came along during which time Jon continued to build up his home studio and make music. several projects are ongoing and the hope is to get back to playing live as soon as possible.
