This mix is an ode to ARENA, the last great party at New York's legendary Palladium (converted theater night club) before big business had the building demolished to make way for more UNAFFORDABLE housing in Manhattan or NYU housing.  Same thing! Anyway, this set is my tribute to the only dj around who truly knew how to fill up a space with sound. All the hits from the club are featured in this tribute,minus one or two. Nevertheless, if you experienced Arena, you will love this mix! I promise.  Work that Arena!

Razor N Guido have always been an inspiration to me, and their records made me want to become a better producer. They were the Kings of the New York Hard House sound at the turn of the Millennium, but their musical talents went far beyond that, both collectively and individually.

I met Guido in 1999, already a fan of his and his partner Razor. Guido was more incredibly warm and genuine than I would have ever imagined, especially for someone that was creating such aggressive music. He instantly welcomed me into the New York "crew" and introduced me to everyone as a peer. He is one person in the dance music scene that I have never heard a bad thing said about. 

His talents and charming personality will be missed.
