Feisty rapper Lady Lykez delivers a bouncy lyrical assault with her brand new single Don't Care. Production comes courtesy of super duo Zdot & Krunchie, who were responsible for Stormzy’s ‘Know Me From’ and Lady Leshurr’s latest track ‘Lukatar’. 

On the the track Lykez sets a few things straight following on from her controversial single Nobody Can, which she unleashed at the start of the year. Calling out a whole host of male MCs challenging them at their own game, the message behind the track was clear, Lykez wants to be classed in the same category as the guys- and she was ready to take any of them on bar for bar!

BBC 1Xtra's Charlie Sloth grabbed the premiere and it followed with numerous responses on Twitter from the likes of Wiley “she sounds like a female Ghetts I've always said this she is good”

The fire from Don’t Care, proves Lady Lykez has no plans to slow down this year as she goes harder that ever, showing she is one of the best emcees in the UK.

UK urban-pop star, Tanika as the focus of much attention after she featured on Naughty Boy’s number 1 selling album, followed by releasing her own track ‘Bad 4 U’ that took the internet by storm. As the hype around her builds even further Tanika is ready to make her mark once and for all as 2014 sees her start to make some real waves, kicking off with her incredible new release ‘Fucking With My Heart’.

‘Fucking With My Heart’ takes hold instantaneously with its thumping bassline and twisted samples, bringing Tanika’s sound to a new level. Co-produced by Sunny, and rising electronic producer Bodhi (who have worked with the likes of London Grammar and Sampha),

Tanika’s smooth vocals are gradually introduced before the song comes into its own with a laidback house beat throughout, building into an epic floor filler chorus.

‘Fucking With My Heart’ was and is the lead single from her forthcoming EP which see’s Tanika work with a variety of new producers and experiment with her sound following her previous track ‘Bad 4 U’ last year, which was produced by the incredible MNEK.

Tanika recently joined Naughty Boy for five dates of his UK tour where she wowed crowds with her solo releases as well as joining Naughty Boy on stage for their unique cover of Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’. Amongst numerous other shows Tanika is steadily building a dedicated group of fans that are eager to hear more from this rising singer-songwriter.

Tanika’s album is set for release later this year, including collaborations with the likes of StarGate, Naughty Boy, Craze & Hoax, Mojam and more.

One of the most respected names in UK rap and music industry game changer, Sway, returns with new single Still Speedin’, which is released out NOW on 3beat Records. The single samples Loleatta Holloway’s ‘Love Sensation’, which was made famous by Black Box who sampled it on their 1989 #1 ‘Ride On Time’. Sway goes in on the track with his signature lyrical word-play, demonstrating his prowess with some serious punchlines.

Causing a huge buzz online, the lyrics have got the likes of Lewis Hamilton taking to Twitter to support the track. Currently in the Top 20 of the Shazaam Chart, the song has a lot of heat building behind it and is looking to send Sway storming back into the charts.

Sway’s prolific abilities have earned him worldwide respect and this has enabled him to form a strong alliance with Giorgio Tuinfort, the producer who masterminded Gwen Stefani’s “Sweet Escape” as well as becoming Akon’s main in house producer. This recognition by major US rap talent has also stretched to artists Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. Sway has also worked with other US production talent such as Emile Haynie who has produced for Eminem and Kanye West.

London born, Irish raised singer songwriter Maverick Sabre has his name ringing round the world right now and rightly so. Rapidly rising from strength to strength, Maverick has been busy touring alongside chart toppers Plan B, Cee Lo Green, Snoop Dogg and The Script as well as collaborators Chase & Status. The summer of 2011 has been sizzling for Maverick who recently signed to premier booking agency William Morris who have packed the British festival circuit full with a healthy dose of this young protégé.

DJ Fresh (real name Daniel Stein) is an English Drum & Bass and Dubstep producer and DJ. He was one of the principal members of drum & bass supergroup, Bad Company,] alongside Darren White , Jason Maldini, and Michael Wojcicki (Vegas). He also owns and runs the pioneering drum & bass label Breakbeat Kaos with Adam F.

The first single from his Third Album, "Louder" was released on July 3, 2011. The song was used as part of a Lucozade Lite advertising campaign the UK and Ireland. The song features vocals from Welsh singer Sian Evans from the band Kosheen, it peaked number 4 on the Irish Singles Chart and Number 1 on the UK Singles Chart. It marked his first top five hit in both countries and first to reach number 1. It is also the first ever song of the dubstep genre to reach number 1 in the UK Singles Chart.[8] On Feburary 12, 2012 the second single "Hot Right Now" featuring British/Albanian singer Rita Ora which became his second number one in the UK.

His third album is due for release in 201 

The FRESH/LIVE tour of Nov/Dec 2011

In late 2011, DJ Fresh began a new aspect of his career by launching the unique concept show 'FRESH/LIVE'. This live show was the first of its kind in the drum & bass/dubstep world, incorporating a drummer, guitarist, vocalist and Fresh himself on keys to perform identical renditions of his studio-produced hits in live settings.

Fresh handpicked the musicians that made up the band, calling on people he had encountered at various stages of his career. On the drums was Kodish, a man with over ten years experience as a drummer in the drum & bass scene, having performed with such eminent acts as Moving Fusion, Bad Company, and Pendulum. Guitarist Richard de Rosa founded the Ska/Swing band Scubaroots, with whom he has performed to thousands of people at countless festivals. Seemingly a master of all trades, he also produced the band's album, was nominated for producer of the year at the 2011 South West Music Awards, and had previously performed on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge with Example and Fresh. Vocalist Fleur exploded onto the scene after performing on X Factor to 9 million TV viewers in 2005 and had also previously performed with Fresh on Live Lounge, and with Ms Dynamite on 1Xtra.

The UK-wide tour completely sold out, taking in seven prestigious venues: The Arches in Glasgow, Alexandra Palace in London, The Big Reunion in Skegness, Manchester Club Academy, Waterfront in Norwich, Concorde 2 in Brighton, and the Student Union in Leeds. FRESH/LIVE is set to return in Spring 2012

A pop singer with serious soul, Bluey Robinson is one of the most exciting prospects of 2011. Born in Sweden and raised in London, the 22 year-old is a captivating, charismatic debut act whose song writing encapsulates a throwback feel with a futuristic twist. Retaining a distinct British personality, there are also echoes of Prince, Otis Redding, The Jackson 5, Cee-Lo Green and Bruno Mars in Bluey’s sonic spectrum. “I’m influenced by a lot of old music but I’m also a young guy living in London in 2011, so I want to tie the two angles together,” says Bluey, who has worked with Labyrinth (‘Pass Out’) and toured with Tinie Tempah. “I don’t want it to be too retro where it doesn’t fit and no one can relate to it, or me.”
