Captivate is a Canadian producer and DJ pushing deeply rooted yet forward thinking bass music. The emerging artist’s productions vary from dark, weighty and dubbed out halftime to frenetic footwork jungle hybrids, to lush ambient-infused bass music. His tracks always pay homage to 90's rave music but with a focus on fusing classic elements with lesser used rhythms. Now a familiar name across Canada, he has had the honour of playing shows and festivals across the country and has provided support for the likes of Fixate, Skeptical, AMIT and many more. His productions frequently appear in DJ sets from the likes of Om Unit, J:Kenzo, Doctor Jeep, Mat the Alien and other hard hitters, and have been released on respected labels such as Mystic State's The Chikara Project and longtime mentor Stranjah's Deviant Audio imprint. Were back with episode 23 of our guest mix series. With CR018 just around the corner we thought who better then to have on than Levrige. This mix takes a deep dive into some serious bass weight pressure, focusing on pushing sound system culture. Filled with ID's, top blends, and of course featuring their upcoming EP on the Label.

Coming October 27th they have their debut release with the label, "Serpiente EP". While they're more popularly known for their influence in DNB, Footwork, Halftime and Jungle, today they're bringing their first Dubstep/140 release to the table. This four track EP covers some serious bassweight and really solidifies Levrige's entrance into the realm of Dubstep/140.

Audio Social 008 - SIADIC

Audio Social is proud to bring you the 8th instalment of the series, an all original unreleased mix by SIADIC. Their encompassing sound and textures seamlessly blend elements of electronic, traditional instrumentation, and sounds of ambient nature together to create a sonic deep listening experience.

Siadic is the collaborative creation between two brothers, Adam and Simon Whitaker-Wilson. Their style explores deep, progressive, and downtempo territory which captivates their audience through continuous hypnotic soundscapes. With classical instruments, Siadic bridges the gap between live performance and contemporary engineering of low-end sound. They have opened for Djrum, TMSV, Egoless, Jafu and showcased at Ciliate and Eye of the Storm in Vancouver. They have also performed at festivals across Western Canada including Bass Coast, Shambhala, Kamp Festival, and The Field Gathering.

Siadic has independently released several singles and EP's, and have become well known for their all original live sets. 2019 marked the release of Zenith EP, on Sensing Waves. 2020 has brought out a new sound featuring their latest EP release, Nadir.
