I recently hit a personal milestone of 10,000 plays for my mixes and thought I'd celebrate and say thanks by making another mix! Huzzah!

I present to you 43 tracks fit into a tight hour and a half session. This mix showcases the three main sounds of DnB I enjoy to play. From the intro jungle and ragga influences paying homage to the roots from the likes of Chase & Status and Shy FX, to the rowdy middle section with artists like Kanine and Tantrum Desire with their massive heartfelt vocal build ups and filthy drops. Lastly we finish by taking a dip into the liquid with its emotional melodies and deep bass lines featuring artists like Monrroe and Hybrid Minds.

NAB DnB has been a leading force in Alberta, Canada in the scene, producing and co producing some of the biggest and best events coming through our city.

I was so very grateful to be a part of the NABDNB takeover of the Y Afterhours in YEG. We had the legends Phibes with us and we rinsed grimey drum and bass on the mainfloor till the sun came up. 
It was a super special night as the Y holds a special place in my heart being my first rave home.

Back at it for Round 2.
After his solo set, J Sound & JukeBox Jake linked up for a filthy 30-minute B2B to keep the chaos rolling. No limits. Just raw, unfiltered drum and bass from two heads deep in the trenches of the Edmonton DnB scene.
This set is all about synergy — flipping tunes, stacking double drops, and pushing each other into darker, grimier territory with every transition. The energy was electric, the crowd locked in, and the vibes fully unhinged.

This summer i was so grateful and extremally excited to make my return to the castle, this time on the new an improved giant beast of a stage it has become. 
This is my most favorite festival and my most favorite stage and my 3rd time being asked to perform on it; so i knew i needed to make this one the MOST specialZ

What a weekend — The Wind Down was extra special this year.🤯💦

JukeBox Sound finally got to live out a goal we’ve been chasing for years: throwing down our first festival set together. To share that stage not just as DJs but as best friends was unreal.
We met at Shambhala in 2011, so to finally get to perform AT a festival together was a dream come true. :) 

We dug deep into the roots of drum & bass, those classic tracks we grew up on, with a new age flip on them to be sure to twist your mind in all the right ways. The crowd fed off it, and the vibes were something we’ll never forget.

This is just the beginning — and we can’t wait to bring even more heat next time. Big love to everyone who was there with us at The Wind Down!

The Wind Down 2025- JukeBox Sound

I was ever so grateful to be asked to make my return to Temple in YEG this summer to be on direct support duties for the absolute legends and one of my fav record label bosses; Matrix & Futurebound.
I absolutely love performing on the big stage and this set list reflects big tunes in the genre for me. I tried to throw some long blend doubles in, lots of vocals and some well known thrown backs. A sneaky genre swap mid set and all the high energy drum n bass i could cram into an hour set while still letting the tunes breathe a little :)

Fathom - Halloween Special DnB throwdown

This Halloween we we asked to play a Halloween rave in the heart of downtown YEG. A massive two day two venue massive rave in collaboration with some of the city's most frequent movers and shakers.

This is a set I had planned to play at the Womp OG campout weekend. 
With this mix I tried to do a lot. Tried to take you on a journey through bass. There’s cuts and long build up transitions. There’s new tracks I’m fired up about right now you’ve probably never heard and throw backs. It speeds up and slows down. It’s DnB and Dub. It’s heavy and melodic. And above all else I’m proud of this mix and the track selection.

OG Campout 2020, DnB Journey Set

Merry Bass-Mas ya filthy animals!!!
I saw this picture UKF put together of their top 2020 DnB tracks and i though that would make a great setlist for a mix. 
All 32 tracks are in this set mixed in key.
So the first hour slaps, with some quick cuts and long blends, heavy bass and epic vocal breakdowns. Last half hour gets liquid and deep to finish it off.

After recently being inspired by a new Bloody Beetroots track released on Monstercat: Uncaged, which is the intro track of this mix, I decided to grab 20 tracks I'm jamming to right now and throw em' together. 
The mix is heavy off the jump, deep and lyrical in the middle, and finishes strong.

Drum & Bloody Bass Mix

Wearin’ black clothes and bustin’ mad flows, YEG-based J-Sound brings that bass to the DnB faithful.
After winning Western Canada’s biggest DJ competition — the Pioneer Mix Master Battle — in 2010, he’s opened for dozens of top 100 DJs and dished out his signature sound to thousands.
A mainstay at The Womp festival, as well as part of NABDnB, he’s also a substitute teacher at Sunday School, lending light to the darkness with pulse-pounding drum and bass.
