This one's a good test on my desire to project my music exactly the way it comes out and be honest about it... At the risk of exposing myself too much! Fuck it!

I wrote this half awake after an actual dream that the lyrics paint... I managed to write it and almost retained that period of time where you remember what happened, this is normally only a very short time as we all know but because I managed to retain that lucid feeling... It worked to sustain that period of remembering some what maybe as I got stuck into the writing so quickly after starting to wake up! It was actually really cool and I've never and may never write another song like it again. A very unique experience. The music came later but the words were born in a pretty lucid state! Schweeeeeeeeet


Some people might not do this and feel ashamed to! Great! That might be someone else...

Shame is only something that exists in a person's head if the person gives a shit about what other people think of what you are. Be what you are and be proud of that. Just Be. My auntie always says .. "Other peoples opinions of me are none of my business" And I love having that truth for myself too. You have to read the room and be respectful but ultimately best not be afraid of this world 🌍 There's too much fear out there as it is so may as well create all the love possible

       This song I wrote back in 2011 and I wanted a swampy, funky, sexy, soulful, sound to it, just a slow mellow vibe to groove to in a slow dance or something. I was going for that Barry White or Marvin Gaye kind of vibe. I worked hard on the lyrics and tried to capture that first date/first dance kind of chemistry! A little spark in the dark, if you will! Charlie did a great job singing it. I had done a video for it early on but it just wasn't very well done so I remixed the song and produced a new video for it about a weeks ago.
