We have a really amazing guest this week. Kill Frenzy!! He is  making his debut on Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint with brand new single "Winners" feat. Kisch which comes with a brilliant remix from Gerd Jansen. It sets the tone for a mix that is going to light your earbuds on fire. Over the years Kill Frenzy has shown himself to be an absolute genius in the world of booty shaking house and techno. I had this argument with someone while in the car listening to this very mix whether this is house or techno and the answer is who cares. At the end of the day in my experience the best mixes are ones that transcend genres and are impossible to define. Kill Frenzy appears to do this regularly with very little effort. Every set I have heard of his follows this trend and it is always pleasure to see him play. His catalog of music spans many incredible labels such as Turbo, Dirtybird, Relief and so many others that further illustrate his diverse musical ability. Terry Jasinto - The Heartbeat (Original Mix) [Staybad] [MI4L.com]

@25places releasing their debut album “Transport” on their own Rotterdam-based label Late Night Running. It contains 25 tracks exploring a variety of sounds.

After a series of EPs released over the course of a few years on labels such as DirtCrew, Balance, Traveller…. we liked the idea of bringing out an album and this way making a return on our own label. A great opportunity for us to showcase more of ourselves as producers to contribute to a scene we love.

With the album, we want to represent a mixture of sounds coming from the early days of house music to more contemporary sounds of today. It’s a recollection of both worlds and a tribute to what inspired us to create. Most of the tracks are made with club culture in mind, but they’re there to be played in any context.

Staying true to our sound with tracks like Memory Palace and Feelings we explored more nostalgic moods with After Dark and Spring Action to name a few.

It was a great journey finalising the album and we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Buenos Aires talent Adrian Hour lands on Get Physical with a pair of superb tracks that prove why he is one of South America’s brightest stars.
 
Having really established himself over the last couple of years, he has gone on to be a regular in the upper echelons of the Beatport chart. As a Dj he is no stranger to high profile gigs at places like BPM Festival and brings plenty of Latin flare to his productions. 

He opens up this fine EP with ‘Conga’, a dark and humid house track that has a chunky tribal groove. Loose percussion is sprinkled over the top and jangling chords and bright pads eventually transform it into a more airy and feel good tune with jazzy overtones that will lift the spirits. 

Keeping up the musical house vibes is the expertly lush ‘Soul&Soul’. This one is filled with a constant sense of tension as it builds through loopy drums and freewheeling disco melodies that bring real joy. Once the track drops, feet will stomp and fists will pump making for a perfectly bubbly party atmosphere. 

These are two subtly feel good house tunes that are imbued with plenty of musical emotion.
