“Daymare” is based on a recurring nightmare, wherein there are faceless people chasing the dreamer. Within the dream there exists several safe havens, but they are all fabrications of a wider nightmare. Thus, each safe haven is corrupted and leads back to the nightmare and the angst of being hunted.

Musically, this is reflected through thematic developments across the orchestra; each to be corrupted and fall back into the nightmare. The idea is for the listener to have an experience of nostalgia, anxiety and unpredictability all within the same experience, but on multiple layers.
