whilst we lie there contemplating
how could we rehearse?
for such a blessing, such a curse
how can we perform?
in such a strange time to be
born into an age
where don't shake and hands aren't raised
and long gone people are praised
for the hands they shook and the questions they raised
its easy to believe
humanity has an ace up its sleeve 
who will save us? the trees
or it looks as though we're down on our knees

A Strange Time

I wrote and recorded this Christmas song perhaps 10 years ago or so.  It's a peaceful song about preparing for Christmas and the Holidays.  I LOVE CHRISTMAS!  I believe in Jesus Christ and I believe that he is the Savior of Mankind.  So naturally, I love the months heading up to Christmas day and New Year's Day.  I pray for the peace of mankind every holiday season, but sadly we just always seem to have evil leaders doing evil things, and war every year.  Why can't we all be kind and live in peace?  I wish I knew.
