The backup song

I dug around in my phone to find this thing an old draft of a song.

Written in 2019 when I was hunting for a new job I had a lot of time on my hands and that's how this beauty was birthed.

it never made it past draft stage, but it is a fairly meaty draft so it has the structure and all.

For now it lives as a pocket recording on my phone. it is funky enough, could make a real song for sure.

One time at an open mic recently I sat down next to a funny man named Hans and had a long discussion about data and IT. 

Later in the evening he revealed that he owned a recording studio a few blocks away. We went there and recorded this little bad boy over a cup of tea.

Please Be Real - Totally baller bedroom session

Once upon a sweaty summer evening I got together with Matīss Klaviniuss, a dear friend of mine.

We sat out to record some music, and record some music we did. Upon finishing I left it in his hands to mix, master, edit and produce in whatever way he saw fit.

So Matīss, being a goofy little lad went all peanut-banana-sanwich-crazy on it and the results are just marvelous!

After some digging around in an old PC of mine I managed to unearth this dusty (and by now) old piece of musical innovation. I really need to dig through those hard drives more thoroughly at some point. Who knows what could be buried there! Treasure? Dreams? Diamonds made of gold?!

Needless to say I will rope off a section of weekend sometime in the future to dedicate to that.
