It was a long awaited package for us, but we are now able to share you this first LP from the Totem Series, from 矯激 [Radical]

He delivered us a two sided LP, focused on mesmerizing soundscapes, meditative ambient pieces and dubby grooves on side A, and pushing forward on the B side from Dub techno to stakhanovist rhythms.

A 3-headed creature…a flow, a space from which all things are considered or composed by a greater force that is, immaterial, moral and aesthetic. All things gross and superficial are elements of a greater vision, an undisrupted flow that we can acknowledge, admire, and with luck, mold.

sata's_incantation.wav is a composition by jona's personal computer, emerging from early efforts to bound immaterial, natural orientations of emotion into an all-enveloping pseudo-synthetic sound. The piece takes several turns, patiently but expeditiously moving the traveler through blue-tinted ethereal spaces evoking inspired motion.

Setting the tone with the swarming bee synths of “Overdose”, a hivemind of its own with an end-of-the-world feeling to it, to proceed into “PWM Break”, breakneck speeds and tossed drumwork, yet permanently drenched ethereal silk-like pads.

Equal parts heavyweight and light as a feather, “Raver’s Delight” does what it says on the tin, with Reese bass thick enough to drown you on the dancefloor, culminating with “Rush”, a swung break stomper guaranteed to break hearts and subwoofers.

Hungarian collective Wedding Acid Group prove that three is the magic number with their heady productions that hit the sweet spot between techno, electro, trance, and of course acid. With regular appearances on Undersound Recordings that include their 2023 “Metro-303” long-player, they have even released a cassette through the imprint which features an extended live jam. Jonny Sriraxa & Luci B's indomitable sonic system, Nostalgia Futura is a project born during the first confinement period in Madrid, Spain, at the peak of the Covid-19 crisis. The overwhelming sensations of physical, social, and emotional detention painted the horizon with a nostalgic hue..."so we felt a certain type of nostalgia for this particular future..." And now, in their sets and performances, Jonny Sriraxa and LuciB aim to transmit the entirety of that accumulated energy through rhythms oriented towards the dance floor--evoking reflection through motion-- and flowing across a variety of genres, histories, and influences that fuse the old, new, and still-evolving.
