Alex Danilov’s Inside comes in two new versions here, both of which build upon the Russian producer’s trademark filter action, making for a groove that funks as strongly as it remains subtle. First off the charming Deepspace Mix patiently unfolds into crisp breaks and lush strings, followed by a remarkably atmospheric Hardspace Mix, which soon steps it up a notch and gets smacking in order to get that floor chugging away to its choo-choo-chimes.

Meanwhile on the other side, Developer’s steaming Lost Moments is treated to an array of additional elements, the outcome sounding razor-sharp and agile as ever, yet still channeling a considerable amount of propulsive force.

As with all releases of LF RMX, the proceeds of this record will be donated to the Berlin charity project Straßenkinder e.V. to be used in actions against child poverty.

Talented young artist Rog de Prisco makes another big splash with his latest offering on Berlin label WHIPBASS, while I Am Bam appears under new YAB alias on remix duties.

Italian Rog de Prisco has been making techno since his mid-teens and adding to his unique sound is his passion for rock music that can be heard on his productions. He has landed on key outlets like Ballroom, Renesanz and Autektone and now his latest release on Berlin label WHIPBASS brims with energy once more. His productions have attracted the attention of artists who have influenced much of his music including Claptone, Paco Osuna, Drumcomplex Joseph Capriati Richie Hawtin and many others. 

Opener 'Nemesis' is a tidal wave of techno revenge. The wall of drums strike a powerful groove and incendiary hi hats build the pressure as underlapping sub bass adds real weight. The remix comes from Italian producer YAB, a new alias from someone who has already got plenty of fine tunes under his belt. In his hands the track is even quicker, harder and more heads down. It's a pure late night banger that will blow minds whenever it gets dropped. Last of all, 'Facom' gets more eerie, with unsettling synth pulses, freaky vocals and a twisted lead pad all bringing paranoid and dystopian future techno vibes.

Craig Hughes is one of Scotland’s most auspicious underground artists. A native of Glasgow, Craig’s love of techno music began in 2015.

DJing for years prior to this, Craig had immersed himself in the old school trance scene synonymous with Scotland, including nights at clubs such as Arches and SWG. However, an unforgettable night seeing Joseph Capriati at Sub Club triggered a transition to the late-night techno sound he now employs.

Craig is no stranger to supporting big names in the scene such as Enrico Sangiuliano, Paride Saraceni, Harvey McKay, D-Unity, Mark Reeve, EJECA and Nic Fanciuli.

The 'Alysio EP’ combines uplifting melodies with driving percussion and is sure to elevate crowds.
