Depression is not only a source of pain for the person who has it. 
It also affects the people around him tremendously.

Today you can hear a new song by Copenhagen, Denmark - born Jonas Brøg, and perhaps this marks his most personal release to date: its a song written for his family.  

"My family has been hit the hardest when depression became part of our world. When I struggle mentally I don’t love, and I can’t be loved. On these day’s it’s best I’m in solitude, but thankfully I can write songs when i'm alone, and this one I wrote for my family, the ones I know I love the most. I feel the importance for them to know, It’s not because of you!”

With his second EP ‘Tiger’, out on October 2nd, Danish songwriter / singer / producer Jonas Brøg marks a changing phase in his life, bringing his core to the surface and expressing it loud and clear - no holding back.

Following Jonas’ acoustic summer song ‘I Say Ayo’ and the ‘That Feeling EP’ back in March, Jonas releases four new songs; from the fun and spirited ‘Tiger’, to the infatuated ‘Put Your Hands Right On Me’ co-written with Swedish writers Astrid Holiday and Edvin Hjertquist, to ‘How MuchDo You Want It?’ featuring London Community Gospel Choir, ending with a tender goodnight song written for his little 5 year old son ‘I Love You Boy’.

Jonas Brøg is an emerging Danish songwriter, singer and producer living by the beach in The Netherlands, who started his musical career as a drummer touring the world, playing for artists
such as Sister Sledge, Gloria Gaynor, Roy Hargrove, Westlife and many more. This career was followed by years working behind the scenes as a producer and writer for other artists, until he started writing and performing his own songs. Multiple of those were featured in

The more laid back, easy going summer vibe in Jonas' new song ‘I say Ayo’ can be explained by his recent move to a house by the beach. “During lockdown, we were actually packing our
 bags to relocate, and dive into a new chapter of our lives. Now I see surfers passing by my studio  window, carrying their boards out to catch a wave. ‘I Say Ayo’ was written with sand between my
 toes. That does something to a human being.
And with all major problems in the world at the moment, it feels nice to be able to put on a song, that at least 
helps to put your own worries somewhat into perspective”.
