Symphonic Poem Without Program (work in progress)

This little song is dedicated the United Nations - the hope for our future! 
A strong United Nations can save the world. We don't want this organization to be toothless! As far as I have heard, there are some big problems: Big powerful, not always benevolent states can veto certain decisions.  Decisions must also be made by consensus, which means that a few malicious states can stop important decisions.
I am sorry to have to suspect that at least two of our most important world leaders suffer severely from megalomania and paranoia.

It began the Year forty five after
horrible six years of war
It was now United Nations was born
They said never ever more
will we experience such nasty days
several countries did agree
to say no to any war - on this globe
