When I was young, and that was a long time ago, I received records of ‘Big Bill Broonzy and Champion Jack Dupree’ for my birthday from my dearest sister and brother-in-law.
Later, I discovered ‘Lightnin’ Hopkins,’ still one of my favorite blues singers and guitarists. Since that day, my love for the blues has only grown.
In the good tradition of:
Start your blues song with ‘I woke up this morning…’ continue with a simple sentence, repeat it, and find a rhyming sentence, we ventured into writing our own blues song.

Paul Kerkhofs wrote the lyrics and colored the melody with his ‘Fender Rhodes’ piano. More than 30 years later, I present a new version of ‘ZeBlues.’
It’s white blues, but it can also sound melancholic. ;-)
