Sometimes it's a matter of perspective. It’s that old story: If you only know one leg of the elephant, you might think it's a tree. Only different perspectives give you the full picture.

The same applies to a frame. For some, it means orientation, focus, safety, or the rules for a good game. For others, a frame means limitation, restriction, regulation, or an inappropriate narrative. Both perspectives are valid depending on space, time, and the people involved. Of course, different perspectives are not alternative facts. A fire in the Carakum Desert is not a date grove. However, the meaning of a fact depends on our perspective. Behind some perspectives are needs. That is human nature. I want to dance, you want to dance. Shall we try it together? Not every step on the other’s toe is wicked intent. Sometimes it's clumsiness, sometimes it's even funny, and sometimes you've just made a really wild move yourself. Sometimes it's a wake-up call… When we forget how to share different perspectives, we see trees where there are elephants, we see division where there are similarities, and fears are fulfilled instead of needs. And in the end, we may only see letters where we actually can hear Meeronauten Musik!

Taking inspiration for Hong Kong's nocturnal Lan Kwai Fong (L.K.F.) neighbourhood, the project deliver the tasteful 'Urubu' EP. Opening up with a huge reinterpretations of Outputmessage's 2011 classic record 'Bernard's Song' aptly named 'Bernard's Song 2018. Following up is EP title track 'Urubu' with it's darkened, driving low end, Jim's eerie vocals resonate around heat searing synth work. Concluding the EP in an incredible fashion is 'Dynamo', a truly hypnotic cut of the highest order that transcends you to a different dimension.’

Travelling the globe for nearly a decade, Jonas has performed in hundreds of venues on five continents, at the world famous Zamna, Fusion Festivals, Burning Man and on a cliff in the Norwegian fjords for a sensational performance for Cercle broadcast to over 14 million viewers. As a producer, Jonas is extremely prolific. His sophisticated melodic style breathes new life into unusual and distinctive sounds, transforming them into timeless dancefloor anthems full of emotion and percussive energy. 

In 2018, Jonas Saalbach founded the electronic music imprint Radikon together with David Guzy. 80 releases later, some of the hottest players in the melodic house and techno scene are releasing on Radikon and Jonas presents his new mini-album 'Acceleration'. His energetic DJ and live performances and unique brand have captivated listeners and clubbers around the globe.
