Merging middle-eastern melodic tropes with the most cutting-edge arsenal of circuit-driven chatter, the title-track pulls out an infectious metronomic swagger adorned with EBM-friendly cascades of shimmering bleeps and raging drums that keep on swelling as bars fly by. Doped on fly, chiselled breaks and a fractalised sound design rife with fractured vocal samples, "Permutation" flings us in a furnace of flash-flowing, mangled synth ellipses and bone-bruising bass moves that'll have you hard-pressed to find your way back to the surface. 

Not one to crank it down one inch for real, "Attenuator" does the very opposite of its name, except perhaps for its more understated, deep-end-friendly approach. Going the dubbier way, this one finds Shure boasting the width of his skills and ever-sharp knack for cutting riveting slabs of pared-down psychedelia. Topping it off, "Sopra il Mondo (featuring Francesca Siano)" is a straightforward roller tinged with Shure's broad palette of jazzy inflections, Latin neo-classicism and oriental harmonics. A correspondingly ambitious and inspired closer to a new master stroke from an artist in full possession of his art.

The title track, 'Together We're More', is beautifully accompanied with delicate lyrics by Graham Baxter. The journey begins in a dark, almost soulful way with an atmospheric, purling soundscape but the way is quickly found as the light of Baxter's voice guides us confidently through a rugged path, to a summit of clear skies.

With 2018 as a dazzling year for both Hollt and Sandeep, the two friends team up again to combine their love for the melodic and deep. ‘Above Distance’ is the second collaboration between the DJ/producers featuring two tracks that compliment each other, whilst individually aimed at different moments during the night.

The release kicks off with ‘Above', a euphoric track designed for prime-time moments. The track’s groovy, yet sturdy start is followed by a compelling melody, after which the actual theme becomes apparent when the slightly darker bass line brings a new energy to the fold. Mid-track the energy unleashes full force, surely bringing the listener in a euphoric state of mind.

‘Distance’ is a warm, and laid back track that builds on an open atmosphere, where strings and solid drums are laying the foundation. The different layers of melody and a dark, yet compelling bassline are building, leading up to a characteristic break that evolves to a atmospheric climax. It’s a track heavily influenced by the long and deep sets both Hollt and Sandeep play in clubs like Toffler and Basis.

Hollt & Sandeep’s ‘Above Distance’ will be released on January 21st, 2019.

Sozialisiert durch Punk, Hardcore und Metal habe ich über die letzten fünf Jahre meinen Weg zur elektronischen Musik gefunden und eine musikalische Evolution durchlebt, welche ich mir nicht mehr anders vorstellen kann! :-) 

Elektronische Musik erzählt Geschichten, lässt uns emotionale Reisen durchleben…. die Beats sind die Herzschläge und das ganze Sound- und Klangspektakel drumherum (ob harmonisch oder disharmonisch,  rhythmisch oder vertrackt, chaotisch oder voller Harmonie und im Einklang) das bunte Treiben des Lebens.

Ich liebe Musik und genauso ist es mir eine Herzensangelegenheit Musik weiterzuempfehlen…ich möchte andere daran teilhaben lassen. Musik verbindet & sagt mehr als tausend Worte! Deshalb möchte ich die Musik sprechen lassen und poste sonntags  „Das Set zum Sonntag“ , ein Set aus dem Bereich der elektronischen Musik, welches mir persönlich sehr am Herzen liegt, Sets welche mich selbst sehr berühren.
