Lift Up

The COVID-19 situation has forced many to stay home and locked in isolated, or with family. 

Though tensions may rise from this extended time together (or alone), it only reminds me that there are no other people I’d rather spend my time with than my loved ones, and that we don’t have to wait till “December”/the holidays to be with them. 

For it is the presence of those we love that transforms our houses into more than just physical spaces we dwell in, and into places that we can call “Home”.
