Shellshocked - Album Track

Finally got to play somewhere that's been a legend to me from childhood. In fact, by fluke, I was the first musician in the Jacaranda club for it's relaunch.

I'm not sure even now whether it was the sense of community, the welcome I received but sitting dawdling in the window, this song sort of fell out of the walls onto my head.

This year has been a year of surprises for me. I've found songs in places I never thought I'd go. So I'll end it with a song co-written with a wonderful poet and lyricist, Mr. John Clarke. Clarkie and I have been friends for years, but his skill as a lyricist is a new found joy.
Clarkie doesn't perform his own songs, but each one is a little piece of who he is, and so I hope I do it justice.
