We would like to take you on a trip with the turtle loving Istanbul-based artist Onur Diner. He blends ethnic sounds & instruments  both in his productions and his DJ sets. In 2016 he released his first EP “Owlephant”  on Submarine Vibes followed by something new in 2018.

Schemering: the reflection of soft glowing light when the sun is below the horizon. 

These names (being Stijn van Doorslaer and Bert Verstappen) complement as much as the duos exquisite and complementary taste for emotive house music. As real moodmakers they're always very passionate and determined to take the listener on a rhythmic journey covering a broad spectrum of musical styles. 

The year 2016 gave them a quick jump to international gigs in Amsterdam, Berlin, Stockholm, Tulum and South Africa. Just recently they were asked to join the internationally growing Project Heart family!  For this downtempo podcast they found inspiration in the melancholy of winter time.

Das Set für den Traumschmiede-Podcast von Lunte bringt mit einer nahezu durchgehenden Mollschleife das Timbre der dunklen, grauen Wintermonate wunderbar unter deine kribbelnde Schuhsohle, lässt sie aus der molligen Decke kriechen und auf die Tanzfläche entschwinden. 

Interkulturalität, Weltoffenheit und Bodenständigkeit geballt in einer Bombe handverlesenem Bummeltechno, Voodo-House und Downtempo. Wer die Lunte zündet, öffnet damit einen Spielplatz melodischer Schockwellen, auf denen es sich zu tanzen lohnt! Nachdem der gebürtige Hesse schon in der frühen Kindheit sein musikalisches Gehör entdeckte, baute er seine DJ-Fähigkeiten in Berlin, Dresden, Marburg, Istanbul und Graz aus. Mit der Veranstaltungsreihe Open Bird (Marburg, D) und dem DJ-VJ-Kollektiv Studio Timbre (Graz, AT) bereichert(e) DJ Lunte die jeweilige urbane Szene nachhaltig. Heute ist Lunte gerngesehenes, explosives Zündwerk für musikalische Spielwiesen in ganz Deutschland.  Sein unverwechselbarer Sound passt zu lauen Freiluftnächten ebenso wie zu verwinkelten Schiffskombüsen.

The EP Ancient Civilization came to life with a beautifully composed, spiritually hypnotic sound. It travels between various touching atmospheres and aims to trigger a state of awareness. Approbation der schwarzen Magie

Wir schreiben das Jahr 751 nach Runhildts Tod. Seit mehreren Dedaken ist Ruhe und Frieden in die Mittellande eingekehrt. Abgesehen von einigen wenigen scharmützeln mit aufständischen Bauern-Rotten und über ambitionierten Emporkömlingen adeliger Geburt, die meinen, dass bestehende System umstürzen zu können. Kurzum, das übliche Chaos einer feudalistisch gegliederten und geführten Gesellschaft. 
Der durchschnittliche Bürger unseres Landes ist in einer Zunft organisiert. Für sogut wie jeden Beruf bzw. strukturierte Form von Arbeit existiert solch eine äquivalente Organisation. Zu nennen wäre die "Zunft der Geldleiher", "Zunft der Gerber", "Zunft der Köche", "Zunft der Ritter", "Zunft der ...
Jede dieser Interessengruppen legt gewisse Richtlinien für die Ausübung der jeweiligen Tätigkeit fest, übernimmt die Kommunikation zu anderen Zünften und den Regierenden und fungiert als Sprachorgan, für die jeweilige Interessensgemeinschaft. 
Zumindest ist das die eigentliche Aufgabe des gewählten "Zunftrates". Die Praxis bestätigt auch hier wieder einmal, das jedes noch so wohlklingende theoretische System, in der Realität schnell entarten kann. 
Das beste Beispiel dafür ist die Zunft der ich angehöre: "Die Zunft der Schwarzmagier & Hexer". Neben dem ungewöhnlich langen Namen, zeichnet sich mein berufliches Umfeld vor allem durch Korruption, Verrat und intrigantes Verhalten aus. Bei "uns" besteht der Zunftsrat traditionsgemäß nur aus den ältesten Magiern und Hexern unserer Breitengrade. Diese Herrschaften entstammen zum Großteil aus Epochen, die mit der aktuellen Lebensrealität der Menschen kaum noch etwas gemein haben. Diesen Umstand erkannten sehr schnell die nachrückenden Generationen an Schwarz-Magiern und gründeten unter der Hand, ein informelles Gremium, welches die wirklichen Entscheidungen trifft. Selbstverständlich wurden die offiziellen "Zunftsvertreter" bei Laune und Stange gehalten.
Um ehrlich zu sein, die "Herrschaft der Alten" habe ich nie ganz verstanden. Dennoch, unsere Zunft nahm schon immer für sich in Anspruch, etwas ganz besonderes zu sein. Nun gut, wir hatten magische Kräfte und konnten diese vielfältig einsetzen. Ich als noch relativ frischer Novize, war da zwar noch nicht so bewandert, aber Fleiß und Wissbegierige zahlten sich auch hier aus. Vor allem brauchte man jedoch ein angeborenes Talent. Dieses war mir, trotz meines Hintergrundes als Vollwaise und meiner Kindheit in den schmutzigen Gassen von Katalarone, in die Wiege gelegt worden. Ich war tatsächlich sogar sehr weit für mein junges Alter und auf dem besten Weg in den 2. Novizen-Grad aufzusteigen. 
Es gab nur ein Problem, dass vorhin erläuterte informelle Machtzentrum meiner Zunft, genauer gesagt den zweiten "Vorsitzenden" dieser Gruppierung. Ich bin mir fast hundertprozentig sicher, dass er es auf mich abgesehen hat und meinen Werdegang absichtlich sabotiert ...

Tiefgründig und bewegend, dramatisch und dennoch ausgeglichen. So lässt sich der Podcast von Frida Darko am besten umschreiben. Es hört und erlebt sich wie ein Guss, wie eine schlüssige Geschichte die sowohl fröhliche, als auch nachdenkliche Aspekte und Phasen beinhaltet.

The „Love and Nature“ artists set off on new adventures and this time they have to face the catastrophic incidents in Australia.

Since September 2019 hundreds of bush fires have burnt over 6 million hectares of land. Scientists estimate that over 1 billion animals are affected. the reasons for the fires are versatile but the worst drought in Australias history and record high temperatures - up to 46 degrees - may be the main reasons. All this can be traced back to global warming but lots of politicians and huge parts of society still close their eyes. It is terrifying to see that every year announcements like this are rising and we are still not able to develop sustainable economic systems. Just embarrassing that country’s like Australia, Brazil or USA, which have to face natural catastrophes more than other countries, blocking important resolutions to stop the climate change. But also we have to take responsibility for our consumption behaviours to sent a signal to the economy.

Kollektiv.Liebe decided to donate all earnings of this release to „Wires“ which founded an Emergency Fund. It helps to rescue sick, injured and orphaned wildlife.

Thomas aka @thomas-gaarthuis is a Dutch musician that is living in the picturesque Haarlem. He has been producing for many years and made a beautiful remix for us in the very first month of our existence. He is also an avid supporter of LF Amsterdam and we are thankful that he agreed to add his own production to our releases from this year. The title Rompompom came up when Thommie was exploring vocal elements to add to the track.

As for the remix; last year Thommie remixed 'Red Dust' for @theoddness, so this moment was perfect to do it the other way around. Happy to have The Oddness remix Rompompom.
