His sound allows you to come into a state of hypnosis, where social demands and restrictions of freedom are non-existent. It gives you the opportinity to dive deep into your mind, a place where anything is possible. 
All this comes from the subconscious creativity of Eyvind, where his emotions shape the sounds into a musical entity.

The 2022 Edition was a special one for me, full of mixed feelings and not really in my best mental state. As soon as I was up there and got in the groove I looked up and saw all the smiles and for a moment I forgot all the bad stuff and went for the ride.
So this is my little gift to you all.

Immense thanks for all your kind words received during the festival. Before and after my set. I live for moments like this and to celebrate music in such environments with the best crowds possible.
Small, simple, good music, good people. Thats all I need.

Techno and ambient have a certain inextricable valence that many great artists are constantly mining in their search for new sounds, though maybe few as well as Berlin based DJ/Producer Alex Moya. Under his Refracted alias, the Spaniard is master of his sound: one that veers from atmospheric and pathos heavy to dexterous techno fit for dancefloor ritual. He’s a sculptor, of transcendent waveforms that is, and one whose sonic explorations have been released on storied imprints like PoleGroup, Silent Season, Semantica, Slow Life and his very own outlet Mind Express (fanfare predictably close at heel). Chief among his recent work? Bassiani Podcast 159 is a strong contender. A droning dose of reality-warping techno, 95 minutes of ricocheting sounds from a talent like no other.

This is a studio mix, started with an initial live take and then combed over meticulously with automated filters, eq, and fx. This is the same setup I use to play out, minus the automation. There is rarely a point when only one track is playing. I always try to find mixes that feel like a new track emerges from the combination. I imagine the optimal listening environment to be eyes-closed with headphones on, but I also hope you will feel an irresistible urge to move at some points ;)

In the early 90s, techno hits Japan. Surprised and intrigued, Takaaki Itoh was impressed with this sound. This unique style of beats revealed the gateway to a world of underground music in Japan, something he had never heard before.
Surprise slowly gave way to addiction when Takaaki Itoh heard the sound of such artists like UR, Derrick May, Axis, Hardfloor, Sven Väth, Harthouse, Warp and Rising High. 
Finding out he just couldn't get enough of it, in 1994 Takaaki Itoh began to organise his own techno parties in Norioka Iwate, having success by providing fantastic line ups.

In 1996, he decided that it was time to start making his own tracks, so he went out, purchased the vital instruments and began producing. 
After sending out 3 finished tracks to various labels, Electracom UK made the first contact with him, and followed to release his first track. This moment was something he will never forget, as for the first time in his life he was able to finally release his own record. 
Then several releases followed and he began to appear in DJ charts and magazines all over the world.

Takaaki Itoh's Japanese style of techno is purely unique, underground and nothing that had been heard before in Europe. 
In a couple of years, he became recognized as the most underground and expected japanese Techno DJ.
Takaaki Itoh has now taken the next step and started his own label Wols, whilst keep playing in great venues wolrdwide.

Tras veinte años y más de cien trabajos publicados a lo largo de su carrera, Héctor Sandoval (cincuenta por ciento de Exium) crea un nuevo proyecto llamado Tensal.

Tensal es su nombre artístico, además del sello que ha creado para dar cabida a la mayor parte de este nuevo material, orientado a un techno mas cíclico y moderno que se apoya en líneas de sintes clásicos. Dos visiones diferentes del techno underground fusionadas en un solo proyecto que en sus primeros lanzamientos ha contado con el apoyo de algunos de los DJ de techno underground mas reconocidos del planeta.

En sus sesiones como DJ, Tensal explora todas las facetas del techno a base de alternar texturas e intensidades diferentes que se nutren principalmente de su propio material. Un recorrido por la actualidad que no te dejará indiferente.
