The Arcadia Caste is a musical group consisting of founding members Jon Keane and Tom Myers of Sioux City, Iowa. Previously known under the name “Melvin”.

Other Notable Guest Members include: Kirk Portuguez, Oceanside, CA. 

The Arcadia Caste was formed in Oceanside, CA circa 2008, while Keane and Myers attended Mira Costa College for music performance and composition studies. The Arcadia Caste played in San Diego County at venues like “The Boar Cross’n” in Carlsbad, CA. As well as locations like Studio City,  well known for its ties to the entertainment industry, in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, California, among other locations throughout the Mid West and the West Coast. 

Arcadia Caste was recognized by the University of Nebraska Lincoln as “The Band of the Month” and also received the accolade of “MySpace’s Band of the Month” In 2008. 

Since 2012, Keane and Myers have gone their  separate ways, although they have always maintained their friendship and a connection through music. 

Keane is currently working on his debut LP; while Myers’ has joined the band “Freebirds” - a prominent Nashville tribute band dedicated to performing the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd. ©️
