Jonathan ("J.M." to many of his friends) played in bands in and around his native town of Austin, TX, as well as bands in Memphis and Nashville. Since the mid-90s he has written music for short films and even a few commercials. He has collaborated with Tom Chamberlain and Dipu Bhattacharya on several projects, including the popular indie web series, The Pantsless Detective.
