I recommend that anyone learning to play the guitar listen to this piece over and over again, playing the Gm/B♭pentatonic scale in various ways, and trying to find a phrase that you like.

The volume adjustment during mixdown is optimized for the environment when using the earphones that come with the iPhone. If you feel that the volume of the guitar playing in this work is low, please use earphones and check the volume balance of this recording. It seems that earphones other than those that came with the iPhone do not have any problems. When using an Android device and when connecting an audio interface to a PC, I connected inexpensive earphones and confirmed that the guitar volume can be heard at a roughly appropriate balance.

There is another way. This song began all the way back when Manuel was 16 and found love that summer with a girl named Carmen. He remembered her, though, and wrote this song about her all these years later. The title of the song means "Your name has the song," and the lyrics spell out the girl's charms using the letters of her name. Check out the lyrics and the translation below. 
  Using that inspiration, Manuel came up with the song structure and the vocal melodies to a rudimentary drum track with his electric guitar. He then asked Josh if the group would be interested in taking it on. Josh, never being one to refuse a challenging piece of music, and always on the lookout for interesting musicians with whom to collaborate, accepted his kind offer and created a project for the rest of the Eclectic Collecitve to join. He started the whole thing off by adding his bass, to which Ken added his innovative drums, to which Josh redid his bass, as is the typical process in the EC.
  Next up was JJ, who you'd think he'd grown up with Spanish music the way he added the horns, accordion, and piano. Then Stephen stepped in and added his psychedelic and intricate acoustic guitar to the stew. 
  It was all done, except for the mix at this point. Manuel did the honors, and did it very expertly. Stephen mastered it to give it more volume and dynamism, too, as he always does. 
  This was the first, but we hope not the last, time the EC has collaborated with Manuel, although we're all fans of the incredible music on his page. He was a true delight to work with, giving honest, encouraging feedback and helping us shape his song to meet his vision. We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed creating it.

L’observateur observé. Un genre de méditation sonore où J’ai voulu mélanger différents genres musicaux avec vers la fin une intervention de Taf, mon ami Sénégalais qui a posé sa très belle voix, c’est un voyage « Inside » car il se passe beaucoup de choses à l’intérieur de notre cerveau humain, entre le conscient le subconscient, le supra conscient, à la fin ça fait beaucoup de monde et ils ne sont pas toujours tous d’accord, on dirait même que des fois il se prennent la tête l’un dit quelque chose, l’autre dit autre chose.
Mais puisqu’en nous subsiste un infini espace d’une grande profondeur où règne la paix, le calme, le silence parfois comme un guide qui nous emmène ailleurs, vers l’invisible, peut être vers cette énergie cosmique, vers les étoiles, vers la lumière, plus haut, plus loin….

Hello… thanks for dropping by. This song is a loud, electric-slide song. It has overdriven slide, some homemade (learning how to:no drum kit) percussion, a vocal harmony and gravely vocals. I am happy I am able to do this at all, at 68 years of age… especially singing, which greatly wanes with age. (I really just started to sing within the last decade or so.) Traveling On… may be seen as a metaphor, or not, it doesn’t really matter. It might signify personal change or a movement toward and/or away from something. There is a hint of recognition, insofar as the unwavering essence of who we are… There is a suggestion of working toward peace. Again, this could be seen as metaphorical, in a sense of personal introspection. What do we espouse, condone and accept in this life for ourselves and society? Do you want to ‘Travel On’?
