Another try at a more electronic vibe for this month’s song. I’ve actually mixed this one with headphones in mind. If you get a chance to listen in this way you might hear more of the more subtle effects I’ve worked into the song. I’m trying something different here from the last few songs so I always welcome  your feedback on how successful I’ve been.

This is from my EP SUPERNOVA. 123 BPM. 3m59s. The main genres are Alternative rock / Indie rock / J-ROCK. The moods are Energetic / Catchy / Groovy. I wrote this rock 'n' roll song alone when I was 18 and recorded it now alone in my room with a guitar, bass, mic and PC. With Oasis reunion, I decided to record this song. This is a congratulations to Oasis and their fans on the reunion. Everything (including cover art and MV) by myself. Loud guitar, beautiful melody and captivating vocals are the selling points. Stephen ( Tex Mex Shaman) wrote and recorded this amazing song , with REKHA and Jeff Roberts.. several years ago.. he asked me to replace the drums… I couldn’t wait to, yes!! The credits are up on Tex Mex Shaman’s page! Will addend in a day or two.   Do yourself a favor and check it out on his page.. Thanks to Stephen, Rekha and Jeff..for all their amazing creativity, dedication and insight and talents and love!!  I’ve been on three vacations since the drums were completed.. played advanced mixes at vacation pools, each time… I associate this blues/ Stevie Nicks cool song with being footloose and fancy free, yeah! Thanks to everyone for letting me groove on this tremendous song!! Hope you all dig the new version! I swear I will respond to comments.. been busy in some good and bad family affairs.. sandwiched between aging parents and college and high school bound kiddos 😇😎🤩

I was glad to contribute some guitar parts to this summer confection from Marcus and Martin of Splintered Finger @fraudstein.

For those keeping track at home, Splintered Finger created the basic tracks as an open collaboration. I added that melodic 70's-style rhythm guitar part as well as a spacey guitar pad. The first solo is also me. The second solo comes courtesy of the always distinctive and ever rippin' Martin Reed @its-tophonicus. Then Jörg @joerxworx brings his smooth and sexy alto (you can hear more of that horn here: https://soundcloud.com/joerxworx/sax-on-sunrise-redemption-by-splintered-finger) Finally Martin picks it up again and takes it all the way home and beyond. Martin also edited and mixed. 

This track kept me good company recently on a particularly salty week away from work. I'll keep it posted until the end of summer, or whenever summer ends for me, anyway.
