We welcome back one of our own hometown heroes, Jonathan Kaspar. Through holding down a residency at the fabled Gewölbe club, to releases on Pets Recordings, Objektivity, Ouïe and our own KX imprint, Jonathan Kaspar has proved to be one of the most exceptionally gifted producers and DJ’s to emerge from Cologne in recent time.

Though the clubs have remained closed since he came to us with his Kompakt debut “Kante”, his inspiration clearly remains unwavered with “Muster EP”. An acid tinged groove throbs to incredible momentum on the title track “Muster”. Follow the heartbeat with “Alle” as Jonathan brings the electro funk forward with his first foray into using his own vocals. A French touched rumble bass gives “Beton” all the flow and more for those early hour moments we all are craving again. The closer “Heber” is a classic opener – a subtle percussion rhythm gets built around sky high synths and a sweet house high hat to warm up any night.

Next up for Maeve we welcome the very talented Italian duo, Underspreche to the label, delivering a 4 track EP including a remix from label founder The Drifter. 

Underspreche first caught our attention back in 2016 with the release of their mini album "Invito Alla Danza" on Optimo Trax, a record that possesses the captivating mixture of ethno vocals & sounds with a raw house dynamic. From there they continued to impress with their unique twist on many prominent House and Techno jams through their Experiments series. We are thrilled to have worked with them to bring you this EP and who better to describe the record than Underspreche themselves...

"We think every kind of art has an important role in our lives because of the magical power it has inside. Positive art can be profound, produce questions, show us new perspectives, transform feelings and connect people telepathically. If this is not magic??!! Taking inspiration from Alejandro Jodorowsky's work we did our own “music act” with this record, trying to ease our inner sorrow through musical poetry and freeing our voice. Exclusive Whitesquare 'Pressured Mind'

The fourth release on Whitesquare's own label, 'Pressured Mind', is ready to blow the same. The 'Algernon' follow-up musically take a different direction than it predecessor, mostly in it's choice of sounds, because Whitesquare unveils his preference for Acid-bleeps once again, as he introduced us to a rhythmic/ acid-esque hybrid on his previous EP for Dj Tennis' Life And Death label. 'Pressure Mind', which was also part of Whitesquare's art:cast for Torture the Artist in October, seems to be based upon the artist's inevitable groovy bass lines, always containing a resonating funkiness in the sub-frequencies. But 'Pressured Mind' has more to offer than the artist's trademark features as the listener is pulled deeply into the sound-action, namely Whitesquare slowly fades in the Acid-beeps that add the title track's suggested seriousness – or pressures one's mind – while before the aforementioned is basically is hinted at with vocoder-edited vocals. 

Whitsquare's single 'Pressured Mind' was released on his Whitesquare Series label on November 1st, 2019.

Los Suruba and their record label Nazca Records present their eighteenth release called ‘Alpha’ EP produced by Roberto Carlos, better known as Thimble. From Spain, he will captivate every listener with this release that comes out throughout three fantastic tracks that intrigue from the first minute.

NAZCA Records was born after internalising the connection between the advanced world of the Viracochas, beings from other planets and the archaic world of the Nazcas, lovers of music, dance and art in general.

This new EP consists of three songs. The first one, 'War Pipes' combines a futuristic and mechanical beat with a cool vocal that sound like out of this world.
'Aletella' climaxes in powerful groove caressed by a synth melody and an arpeggio that make each silhouette stand out on the dance floor. Finally,
'Divided' is a broken beat track that catches you in this futuristic combo. The electronic synths keep your feet on the ground while the intensity grows allowing the arpeggios and sequences to merge with your senses letting the vocals direct your thoughts.

Grasping 2020 as the year to remember, we are unfolding 2021 with the highly-anticipated release from our Argentian friends Bridado Crew & Ubbah, who already shared their musical ideas with the remarkable split releases on Eleatics in 2018. This time Brigado Crew duo, who has already released their music via Diynamic, Stil Vor Talent and Eklektisch, joins Ubbah for 'Too Late' EP. The main track 'Too Late' is a driving banger, which is extensively concentrating ones' attention with the effective and bursting bass-line and low-end work. Vocals from the Australian singer Winnick are becoming the epicentre of the dynamic and explosive track, which will lit the focus of those, who love the floor-working things. Random synth playouts altogether with the noticeably working bass sounds plus the standalone Winnick's vocals takeover certainly bring the feeling of the energy. French producer Damon Jee had a fruitful 2020 year with the releases on Correspondant, Critical Monday and Fine Human from a few to mention, which led him to be one of the most sold artists of Indie Dance genre on Beatport. Known for his dark-disco brand style, Damon is shaping his remix catching the laid-back groove around main sounds from the original track multiplied with the dark-disco sound inherent to the remixers' sound. Releasing with Diynamic, Mobilee, Flying Circus and his own Jeudi Records, Doctor Dru has always been a figure to watch. Dru's remix brings the very best of Indie sound: colourful melodies and pads, mysterious vocals and the immense groove - that's what we have in the end.
