באחת הנסיעות לחו"ל, נולד להם נכד והם שמעו על כך בטלפון.

דוד ודודה שלי הפכו לבעל ואישה בשנת 1965.

לאשתי קוראים סיון. 

סיון זה במקרה גם השם של אחותי. 

לבעלה של אחותי קוראים ירון. ירון הוא הגיס שלי או גיסי. 

לירון יש שלושה אחים גדולים ממנו. אחד רווק, אחד גרוש ואחד אלמן.

סיון אומרת שהם משפחה מושלמת.

ההורים שלנו חולמים על נכד.

גם הדודים שלי חולמים על נכד.

זה חלום שמגיע עם הגיל.

De har ikke haft det let ved at vokse op i udkantsdanmark, som halv-danskere. De følte sig anderledes, fordi deres fædre er anderledes. Mørkere. Fremmede. Indvandrede fra en tid, hvor det endnu ikke var et begreb, man kendte. Slet ikke i Bramming i Vestjylland eller i den fynske landsby Vissenbjerg. Ingen kunne udtale deres navne. Til gengæld fik de masser af øgenavne. 
Mød den 32 årige Sanne Cigale Benmoyal og 27 år gamle Jotam Christofer Confino. De er begge halvt danske og halvt israelske. De er begge journalister. Og de er begge i Israel for at møde og udforske deres israelske identitet et sted, hvor den er en del af det almindelige gadebillede. Samtidig møder de (måske) det danske, der er en væsentlig del af dem selv, men som de tidligere havde svært ved at mærke, fordi der blev peget så meget fingre af dem.
En samtale om at vokse op og leve med blandet identitet og lede efter sine rødder. Noget flere og flere af de kommende generation vil komme til at gøre.
