In Zen Buddhism, Tao is 'The Way' with Buddha-nature and Buddha-mind. Tao, or Dao, is the sense and expression of the relationship between the void and the plenum, the natural balance between opposites. It is soft and quiet but immensely powerful. It is the Tao that keeps the universe balanced and ordered.
